PANDAN CARES | LGU and Barangay Canlubi Lead Tree-Planting Activity

PANDAN, Catanduanes Province – Simple lang ang pagtatanim ng puno, pero malaki ang maibibigay nito sa ating komunidad.

The Municipality of Pandan, under the leadership of Hon. Honesto Olog Tabligan, Municipal Mayor, through its staff headed by Mr. John O. Alcantara, Executive Staff of Pandan, together with the people of Barangay Canlubi led by Hon. Estrella I. Tuburo, Barangay Chairwoman, joined the 14SFC in a tree-planting activity in Pandan, Catanduanes.

Para sa Pandan LGU at sa mga taga Canlubi, ang pagtatanim ng puno ay hindi lang simpleng activity. It is a simple way of showing care for their community and for the children who will live here in the future.

Ngayon natin itinatanim, pero bukas, ang mga anak natin ang makikinabang.

With the leadership of the Pandan LGU and Barangay Canlubi, and the support of 14SFC, everyone shared their time and effort to help make their surroundings cleaner and greener.

Personnel of the 14SFC stood alongside the local government and the community in this simple but meaningful effort.

Because taking care of the environment is something we can all do.

Isang puno. Isang simpleng pagtulong. Isang magandang bagay para sa kinabukasan.

Sa sama-samang pagkilos ng LGU, barangay, community, at mga katuwang na organisasyon, mas nagiging posible ang isang mas malinis, mas luntian, at mas magandang Pandan.

From 24 to 25 July 2026, the 14th Special Forces Company proudly participated in the Opening Parade, Caravan, and other official activities of Alinao Festival 2026 in the Municipality of Malinao, Albay, in celebration of the municipality's rich cultural heritage, cherished traditions, and enduring community spirit.

Alongside the Local Government Unit of Malinao, national government agencies, civic organizations, and members of the community, the Company marched in solidarity to officially open the festival. The celebration not only highlighted the vibrant culture and identity of Malinao but also served as a platform to strengthen the partnership between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the local community through unity, cooperation, and meaningful engagement.

The participation of the 14th Special Forces Company reflects its unwavering commitment to supporting local government initiatives, strengthening civil-military relations, and promoting peace, security, and community resilience. By actively taking part in programs that foster collaboration and mutual trust, the Company continues to uphold its mission of serving the people while building stronger and more resilient communities.

On 20 July 2026, the 14th Special Forces Company (Swordfish) paid a courtesy call with the City Development Office (CDO) -Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Legazpi City, represented by Ms. Meredith Basquinas, LGOO VI/CLGOO.

The activity strengthened the partnership between the Philippine Army and the DILG in promoting peace and security, disaster preparedness, and community development. It also enhanced coordination and cooperation in delivering programs and services for the benefit of the people of Legazpi.

The 14th Special Forces Company paid a courtesy call to Engr. Miladee N. Azur, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer of Legazpi City, to strengthen partnership and coordination in advancing community resilience and disaster preparedness.

The engagement focused on enhancing collaboration in support of the Community Action for Resilience and Emergency Support (CARES) Training, promoting disaster preparedness, emergency response, and capacity-building initiatives for local communities. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering communities, strengthening local disaster response capabilities, and building a safer and more resilient Legazpi City.

Together, we strengthen partnerships, empower communities, and build resilience.

Special Forces Team 1402 (SFTM 1402), led by 1LT HAN MATTHEW L EBO (INF) PA, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Honesto C. Tabligan II, Municipal Mayor of Pandan, Catanduanes, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen collaboration with the Local Government Unit.

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss areas of mutual cooperation in promoting peace and security, enhancing disaster preparedness and response, strengthening community resilience, and supporting programs that contribute to the welfare and development of the municipality. Both parties also reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a strong partnership anchored on public service and the shared goal of ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Pandan.

The Special Forces remains committed to working hand in hand with the Municipal Government of Pandan and other stakeholders in advancing initiatives that build resilient communities and contribute to sustainable peace and development.
