The Municipal Government of Albuera informs the public that the Public Warning Siren will be sounded at 10:00 A.M. of July 12, 2026, as part of the nationwide commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

The sounding of the siren is a symbolic activity held simultaneously across the country, together with the blowing of car horns and tolling of church bells, in observance of this historic milestone that affirmed the Philippines' sovereign rights and maritime entitlements in the West Philippine Sea under international law.

The public is advised that this is not an emergency alert. We encourage everyone to remain calm and join the nation in reflecting on the significance of this occasion.

RE: Precautionary Measures Due to the Low-Pressure Area (LPA 06d)

As of 8:00 AM today, 29 June 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 06d) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and now has a "HIGH" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
