✅ Prohibiting being topless or naked in public places
✅ Regulating alcohol consumption and sale in public areas

The Sangguniang Bayan of Alcala invites everyone to a public hearing on two proposed municipal ordinances:

1️⃣ No Topless/Naked in Public Places Ordinance (prohibiting and penalizing being topless or naked in public).
2️⃣ Public Alcohol Regulation Ordinance (prohibiting drinking in public places and regulating its sale and distribution).

Our Vice Mayor Hon. Daniel A. Sumabat III, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) President Hon. Francisco Verzola, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President, actively participated in the FIRST MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD MEETING FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2026 held today.

This gathering focuses on strengthening our waste management policies, improving compliance with ecological laws, and planning sustainable programs that will keep Alcala clean, orderly, and environmentally resilient for all residents.

We remain committed to working hand-in-hand with all sectors for a greener and healthier municipality! ♻️🌱

Our Sangguniang Bayan members, together with the SK President, will join the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) National Assembly and 2nd Quarter Continuing Local Legislative Education Program (CLLEP).

When: July 29–31, 2026
Where: Iloilo Convention Center (ICON), Iloilo City

This event gathers local legislators nationwide to update knowledge on laws, share best practices, and sharpen legislative skills aligned with the Local Government Code. We aim to bring back valuable insights — including youth-focused governance inputs — to craft better ordinances and serve the people of Alcala more effectively.
