Residents were reminded to remain vigilant, secure their homes and personal belongings, avoid becoming victims of scams and other fraudulent activities, and immediately report any suspicious persons, incidents, or criminal activities to the nearest police station. The activity was held at Brgy. Gamuton, Alegria, Surigao del Norte, on September 4, 2026, at about 2:55 PM.

Conduct National Simultaneous School Safety Drill on Active Attack Incidents

Personnel of Alegria MPS led by PCpl Ginalyn G Hizona, Asst CAD PNCO, under the supervision of PCPT JEZZYL D SIMON, ACOP, patricipated the National Simultineous school safety drill on active attack incidents at Lourdes Jamero Mordeno Elem. School Brgy. San Juan, Alegria, Surigao del Norte on September 03, 2026 at about 3:04 PM.

The activity aimed to enhance the preparedness, awareness, and response capabilities of school personnel, students, and participating responders in addressing active attack incidents. It also sought to strengthen coordination and communication among the PNP, school authorities, and other concerned agencies, and to ensure the effective implementation of appropriate emergency response, evacuation, and safety procedures during such incidents.

PEMS Oliver C Nituda, MESPO, under the supervision of PCPT JEZZYL D SIMON, ACOP attended the coordination and orientation meeting with Ma’am Regel P Pobe, School Principal II and teachers of Alegria Central Elem,School, regarding the preparations and awareness activities for the School Safety Drill on Active Shooting Incidents. Activity held at Alegria Central Elem. School, Brgy Poblacion, Alegria, Surigao del Norte on September 03, 2026 at about 10:40 AM.

The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness and awareness of the school administration, teachers, and personnel in responding to an active shooting incident. It also sought to clarify the roles and responsibilities of school personnel and responding authorities, establish proper coordination and communication procedures, and ensure the effective implementation of safety protocols and emergency response measures during the School Safety Drill. The activity further aimed to promote a culture of preparedness, enhance the safety and security of learners and school personnel, and minimize the possible impact of any active shooting incident or similar emergency situation.
