20th Regular Session of Sangguniang Bayan of Allen

06/07/2026

LOOK | The Sangguniang Bayan of Allen held a Public Hearing on July 6, 2026, to discuss proposed ordinances that promote more sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in the municipality.

Among the measures presented were the implementation of the Bring Your Own Tumbler (BYOT) Policy in schools, the Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) Policy during market days, and the Clean-As-You-Go (CLAYGO) Policy in public places, food establishments, and government facilities. These initiatives support the goals of Republic Act No. 9003, or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, in reducing waste and encouraging responsible environmental stewardship.

The public hearing also gave residents and stakeholders the opportunity to share their views and take part in shaping local policies that contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Allen.
