🚒 SKILLS ENHANCEMENT | HOSE OPERATIONS 👨‍🚒

Almeria, Biliran | September 4, 2026 — Personnel of the Almeria Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO2 Lolito Cesar C Nueve, OIC, Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a skills enhancement activity on the proper folding and handling of fire hoses.

The practical exercises aimed to enhance personnel proficiency in hose operations and ensure the proper preparation and deployment of firefighting equipment during emergency response.

The activity forms part of the station’s continuing efforts to strengthen operational readiness, safety, and efficiency.

SKILLS REFRESHER | ROPE RESCUE 🧗‍♂️🚒

Almeria, Biliran | September 2, 2026 — The Almeria Fire Station , under the Leadership of SFO3 Dennis A Canonoy , Officer-In-Charge , Municipal Fire Marshal , conducted a Skills Refresher on Rope Rescue to enhance the technical knowledge, skills, and operational readiness of personnel in responding to emergencies involving elevated, confined, or difficult-to-access areas.

The activity focused on reviewing essential rope rescue techniques, proper handling and use of rescue ropes and equipment, knot tying, and basic rescue procedures, while emphasizing the importance of safety, teamwork, and effective communication during rescue operations.

Through continuous training and hands-on practice, personnel strengthened their competence, coordination, teamwork, and preparedness to safely and efficiently carry out rope rescue operations.
