YOUTHFUL AFTERNOON, ALMERIA!

Please be respectfully informed that the Pickleball Tournament, originally included as one of the activities for Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, has been officially cancelled.

This decision was reached through a mutual agreement between the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) after carefully considering the limited number of registered and participating teams/players for the tournament.

We understand that some of our young people have been looking forward to this activity, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. This decision was not made lightly, but was made to ensure that our activities remain meaningful, properly organized, and worthwhile for everyone.

FULL REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEE

To all participants who have already paid their registration fee, please be assured that 100% of the registration fee will be refunded in full.

For a smooth and orderly refund process, the Secretariat will personally contact the individuals who registered through the official Google Form using the contact information provided during registration.

Please prepare your proof of payment/registration and valid ID for verification when claiming your refund.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who registered, expressed interest, supported, and prepared for the Pickleball Tournament. Your enthusiasm and willingness to participate mean a lot to us. YOUTHFUL EVENING!

Please be informed that the Free Theoretical Driving Course under our Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 activities has been RESCHEDULED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

This adjustment is due to operational concerns and scheduling limitations from the LTO Region 8. According to LTO Region 8, the period of August 23โ€“29, 2026 has already been allocated for the processing and issuance of backlogs.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyoneโ€™s patience and understanding. The final date and schedule of the Free Theoretical Driving Course will be announced once LTO Region 8 provides us with their updated availability.

As part of our continued commitment to promote environmental responsibility, the SK Council proudly renews our โ€œBOTE MO, SHOOT MOโ€ Trash Can Projectโ€”a simple yet meaningful initiative to keep our barangay clean and encourage everyone to practice proper waste disposal.

This project was originally established in November 2024. However, due to wear and damage from continuous use, the SK Council decided to have it repaired and recreated using SK funds allocated for maintenance, ensuring that this initiative can continue to serve our community.

Small actions create big changes. Letโ€™s work together to keep our barangay clean, green, and responsible. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒ

A meaningful beginning to a week dedicated to youth empowerment, unity, environmental stewardship, and active citizenship. ๐Ÿ’š

August 15, 2026 โ€” The Municipality of Almeria formally launched the 2026 Linggo ng Kabataan through a meaningful Tree Nurturing Activity, spearheaded and organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), in coordination with DILG-Almeria.

The activity brought together SK Officials, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Barangay Officials, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), PNP, BFP, BJMP, Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs), government workers, and young people in a collective effort to promote environmental responsibility, volunteerism, and active citizenship.

More than nurturing trees, we nurtured hope, responsibility, and a shared commitment to a greener and more sustainable future. ๐ŸŒฑ

READY TO HIT THE ROAD?

The FREE Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) is open to qualified youth of the Municipality of Almeria! If you want to learn more about road safety, traffic rules, and responsible driving, this is your chance to LEARN, PREPARE, AND DRIVE RESPONSIBLY.

Before securing your slot, please read the registration instructions carefully.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Participants must be residents and registered voters of the Municipality of Almeria, Biliran.
2. Each barangay is allocated a maximum of 30 participant slots.
3. Coordinate with your Barangay SK Official to secure your slot for the FREE Theoretical Driving Course (TDC).
4. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the 30 slots allocated to your barangay are filled, no additional participants will be accommodated.
5. All registrations must be completed on or before 28 August 2026. Early registration is highly encouraged as slots are limited.
6. Donโ€™t wait! Visit or coordinate with your Barangay SK Official as soon as possible to secure your slot.
7. Only participants with confirmed slots will be accommodated. Participants may be required to present proof of residency
