BAGONG PNP IN ACTION: MGA PULIS TUMULONG SA ISANG SENIOR CITIZEN

Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na paigtingin ang compassion-driven public service sa ilalim ng “Bagong Pilipinas” vision, patuloy na itinatampok ng Philippine National Police ang mga araw-araw na kabutihang ginagawa ng ating mga pulis sa komunidad.

Isang magandang halimbawa nito ang nangyari sa Morong, Rizal, kung saan sina Patrolman Jayson Espiritu at Patrolman Jose SJ Pilapil ng Morong Municipal Police Station ay nagpakita ng tunay na serbisyo-publiko na higit pa sa tungkulin.

Habang nagsasagawa ng regular na community patrol sa kahabaan ng Tomas Claudio Street, Brgy. San Jose, Morong, napansin ng dalawang pulis ang isang matandang babae na nahihirapang kumuha ng masakyan pauwi. Dahil puno na ang mga dumadaang traysikel, agad silang lumapit at inalok ang matanda na isakay sa kanilang patrol car upang makauwi siya nang ligtas at kumportable.

Ang simpleng gawaing ito ay patunay ng malasakit at dedikasyong pinanghahawakan ng PNP — na ang pagiging pulis ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagtugon sa krimen o panganib, kundi sa pagiging tagapangalaga at tagapagsilbi ng mamamayan sa lahat ng oras.

Pinuri ni Acting Chief PNP Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. ang dalawang pulis, at sinabi niya, “Ang ganitong simpleng gawa ng kabutihan ay sumasalamin sa tunay na diwa ng serbisyo publiko. Ito ang mukha ng Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tama at Nararamdaman."

Hinihikayat ng PNP ang publiko na ipagpatuloy ang pagbabahagi ng mga positibong kuwento ng kabutihan at serbisyo ng ating kapulisan, bilang paalala na sa likod ng bawat uniporme at tsapa ay isang pusong handang maglingkod nang may malasakit at integridad.

On October 23, 2025, at about 7:25 PM in Mlang, North Cotabato, operatives of the Cotabato Provincial Cyber Response Team conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man, alias "Tisoy," for the illegal online sale of wild animals.

Three Philippine wild ducks were rescued from the suspect and turned over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for proper care and custody.

"Tisoy" is facing charges for violation of Section 27(e) of RA No. 9147 (Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act of 2001), in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the operatives for the successful operation. "The online selling of wild animals is strictly regulated by law. Sellers who disregard this may face serious penalties. We urge the public to report any similar illegal activities to the nearest ACG office for immediate action,” he said.
