We are excited to announce a successful 2-day training session on the “𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐜𝐬” conducted by 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 in collaboration with 𝐂𝐒𝐔 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 (FabLab Caraga) last July 9-10! 🌞🔋
Under the expert guidance of one of our faculty members as the resource speaker, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. Ronieto N. Mendoza, participants gained valuable insights and hands-on experience in the latest renewable energy technologies. This training is a significant step towards a sustainable future, empowering our community with the skills to harness solar energy effectively.

Early this March of 2023, the Center for Renewable Energy, Automation and Fabrication Technology (CRAFT) and DOST Caraga have conducted an internal meeting and discussion to finalize the Packaging and Labelling Innovation Center (PLIC) 2023 Calendar. This preparation aligns with the planned-out various capability development in Caraga Region on packaging and labeling technology to enhance the quality and safety of products developed by MSMEs and FICs.

This training series will feature UN Sustainable Development Goals and how Digital Fabrication, Fab Lab operations, and Innovation in the Philippines were able to align to. On February 9, 2023. The students of Libertad National High School visited the Caraga Fabrication Laboratory (FABLAB) as well as the Packaging and Labeling Innovation Center (PLIC) of the Center for Renewable Energy, Automation and Fabrication Technologies (CRAFT). The purpose of their visit is for their Research Immersion Activity. Thus, demos for the machines and equipment were presented by the FabLab Manager and also the CRAFT Director himself, Engr. Ronieto N. Mendoza together with the help of FABLAB's Interns and Student Assistants.
