The initiative underscores the commitment of both LGU Amulungueños & LTO to improve public service delivery, reduce congestion in main offices and ensure that vehicle owners remain compliant with registration requirements. By bringing essential services directly to the community, the Balik Rehistro Caravan promotes efficiency, accessibility and public convenience.

📝𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 │ Isinagawa ang masusing pagpupulong at paglilinaw kahapon ika-24 ng Setyembre, na ginanap sa Meeting Area ng Legislative Building ukol sa itatatag na ordinansa na may pamagat na “Helping and Reintegrating the Overseas Filipino Workers Emergency Support Program o mas kikilalanin bilang “Heroes Program” sa bayan ng Amulung na pinangunahan ni SB Heribert R. Rendon na siyang may-akda ng nasabing panukala.

Kasama sa pagpupulong bilang mga kasamang may-akda at katuwang sa paglilinaw ay sina SB Marcian Francisco B. Donato, SB Amor Emmanuel M. Pasimio at LNB President Consuelo M. Buquing. Dumalo rin at nakibahagi sa pagsusuri sina Senior Labor Employment Officer Ricky Burac at kinatawan ng Budget Office na si Ma'am Lyka De Leon.

Layunin ng nasabing pagtitipon na masigurong malinaw, wasto, at makabuluhan ang bawat probisyon ng ordinansa upang maging tunay na kapaki-pakinabang ang programa para sa ating mga OFW at kanilang pamilya.

Sa naturang pagpupulong, tinalakay nang masusi ang mga saklaw, benepisyo, at mekanismo ng programa mula sa pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga umuuwing OFW hanggang sa kanilang muling pagsasama at pag-unlad sa ating bayan.

Matapos ang masusing pagtalakay, naisulong ang pagpapatibay ng nasabing panukala sa susunod na hakbang ng pagpapatupad.

🏧𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐏 𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐍 │Isang makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa pagbibigay ng pantay na oportunidad sa pangkabuhayan ang isinagawa ngayong araw, ika-24 ng Setyembre sa bayan ng Amulung matapos matagumpay na ilunsad ang pagsasanay sa "Basic Welding Operations" para sa mga Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Ang nasabing programa ay pinangunahan ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pangunguna ni Mayor Elpidio R. Rendon kasama sina Vice Mayor Edward M. Antonio, SB Marcian Francisco B. Donato III at SB Heribert R. Rendon katuwang ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) sa pamumuno ni Myrna Matias, Disability Affairs Office sa pamumuno ni Rachelle Donato at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Layunin ng proyektong ito na maghatid ng mga praktikal na kasanayang teknikal sa mga kababayan nating may kapansanan upang matulungan silang magkaroon ng sariling pagkakakitaan, makapagtatag ng maliit na negosyo, o makahanap ng trabaho sa industriya ng konstruksyon at welding shop operations.

Tinuruan ang mga kalahok ng mga pangunahing kaalaman sa welding, tamang paghawak ng mga kagamitan, at ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat—ang mga panuntunan sa kaligtasan habang nagtatrabaho. Personal ding ginabayan ng mga sertipikadong instruktor ang bawat PWD sa aktwal na pagweweld ng mga bakal.

Laking pasalamat naman ng mga dumalo dahil sa ganitong uri ng programa na nagbibigay sa kanila ng bagong pag-asa at kumpiyansa sa sarili.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚│ The Sangguniang Bayan of Amulung led by Municipal Vice Mayor Edward M. Antonio, along with the Chairman of the Committee on Trade, Commerce and Industry and proponent of the said ordinance SB Member Christopher C. Marcos; SB Amor Emmanuel M. Pasimio and Secretary to the Sanggunian Marita Butacan, conducted a public hearing today, September 21, 2026 at the Executive Lounge, Executive Building to discuss the proposed ordinance establishing the buying price of hogs based on live weight and the selling price of pork based on dressed weight in the municipality.

The public hearing was also attended by the Market Administrator Jhonny Magulud, Meat Inspector Saturnino Doctolero, BPLO representative Lea Legaspi, barangay captains, local hog raisers, meat vendors, butchers and consumers joined to share their insights.

The proposed ordinance seeks to establish a fair and reasonable pricing mechanism for hogs and pork products within Amulung. It aims to promote transparency in the buying and selling of hogs, protect the interests of both producers and consumers, and help ensure orderly transactions in the local meat industry.

During the consultation, stakeholders discussed the factors that may be considered in determining the appropriate buying price for hogs based on live weight and the corresponding selling price of pork based on dressed weight. Participants were also encouraged to provide recommendations that would help make the proposed ordinance responsive to prevailing market conditions and the concerns of the local hog-raising and meat-selling sectors.

The Sangguniang Bayan will consolidate all recommendations from the public hearing and will undergo the necessary legislative process before its final approval and implementation. The public hearing concluded at 11:00AM.

🏧𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 │The Sangguniang Bayan of Amulung convened in a special session today to deliberate on an urgent request from the Local Chief Executive seeking authority to apply for an exemption from the election public funds ban for local social welfare services.

The urgent measure comes in response to the strict guidelines mandated by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) under Resolution No. 11265.

Municipal Vice Mayor Edward M. Antonio presided over the meeting and led the proceedings with the attendance of the majority of members including SB Marcian Francisco B. Donato III, SB Amor Emmanuel M. Pasimio, SB Christopher C. Marcos, SB Heribert R. Rendon, SB Mark Anthony P. Baculi, SB Ismael P. Zalun and LNB President Consuelo M. Buquing.

Following a brief deliberation and insights from Municipal Budget Officer Jenelson Gorospe and MSWDO head Myrna Matias along with her staff Ma’am Jen Cabbab, the legislative body unanimously passed a resolution granting the Mayor the necessary authority to file the application with COMELEC and comply with all related requirements.

There being no other matters to discuss, the session adjourned at 2:30 PM upon motion duly made and seconded.

📝𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 │Isinagawa ngayong umaga, ika-18 ng Setyembre ang masusing deliberasyon para sa Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Annual Budget ng barangay Tana na pinangunahan ni Sangguniang Bayan Member John John Malamug.

Bilang Chairman ng Committee on Finance and Appropriations, binigyang-diin ni SB Malamug ang kahalagahan ng transparent at epektibong paggamit ng pondo ng kabataan.

Layunin ng nasabing aktibidad na masigurong ang bawat pisong inilaan ay mapupunta sa mga programang tunay na makikinabang ang mga kabataang Amulungueño.

Sa naturang deliberasyon, isa-isang sinuri ang mga panukalang proyekto ng bawat SK Council, kabilang ang mga programa para sa edukasyon, sports development, lingkod pangkalusugan, at environmental protection.

Dumalo din sa nasabing deliberasyon si SK Chairman Jonathan Rumbaua at matapos ang pagsusuri ay naaprubahan na sa committee level ang nasabing SK annual budget.
