Student leaders of Anda National High School took part in the Sexually Healthy and Personally Empowered (SHAPE) Adolescents Training – Day 1 held on October 3, 2026 at Anda National High School Canteen.

The activity, organized by the Anda Rural Health Unit II Primary Care Facility, brought together representatives from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), and Class Mayors.

Day 1 focused on helping adolescents better understand themselves and make informed and responsible choices. Participants engaged in Module 1: Growing Up, which covered physical changes, male and female fertility, teenage pregnancy, and sexually transmitted infections. They also explored Module 2: Changing Feelings, which tackled understanding emotions, body awareness, sexuality, and the journey through adolescence.

The opening program also featured messages of support from Dr. Gillen V. Vuelta, Medical Health Officer of Anda RHU II, and Dr. Jeannette C. Liwaliw, Principal IV of Anda National High School, along with the introduction of the SHAPE modules and house rules.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬!
The participants are set to return for Day 2 on October 10, 2026, where they will tackle topics on relationships, healthy lifestyles, respectful and responsible relationships, responsible online behavior, and assertive communication.

Through initiatives like SHAPE, our young leaders are given opportunities to become more informed, responsible, respectful, and empowered adolescents who can positively influence their peers and contribute to a healthier school community.

Anda National High School came together on October 2, 2026 for a meaningful and joyful Teachers’ Day Celebration, honoring the dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions of our teaching and non-teaching personnel. ❤️ 📚

The celebration opened with an inspiring message from Dr. Jeannette C. Liwaliw, Principal IV, followed by the much-awaited “Teachers’ Got Talent,” where the different departments and non-teaching personnel showcased their talents, creativity, and camaraderie. 🎤 ✨

The fun continued with exciting games such as Catch the Egg, Garter Game and Longest Line (Teachers vs Parents), filling the afternoon with laughter, friendship, and memorable moments among the school personnel. 😂 🎉

A heartfelt Letter of Appreciation was delivered by SSLG President Chelsea Rhian Perez, followed by the giving of tokens from the SSLG and all students—a simple yet meaningful expression of gratitude for the teachers and personnel who tirelessly guide and support our learners.

Another highlight of the celebration was the awarding of Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation to all teaching and non-teaching personnel of Anda NHS, recognizing their valuable service, dedication, and continued commitment to the school community. 🏆 👏

The celebration also featured a message from SPTA President Cambronero Biagtas Carlito Jr., and concluded with closing remarks from Alma V. Cordova, Master Teacher III.

To every teacher and staff member of Anda National High School, this celebration is a tribute to YOU. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, for inspiring our learners, and for making a difference every day.

Representatives of Anda National High School joined fellow educators, education partners, and stakeholders during the Recognition of Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025 held at the Pangasinan National High School Social Hall.

The gathering provided an opportunity to recognize the collective efforts behind the successful implementation of the PISA 2025 cycle and to celebrate the encouraging progress reflected in the Philippines' latest international assessment results.

The program featured the PISA Journey, the awarding of certificates, messages from education leaders, and the unveiling of a gift from Secretary Sonny M. Angara.

For 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, the occasion served as another meaningful reminder of our shared responsibility to continuously improve learning outcomes and strengthen the competencies of our learners in Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

We are grateful to the Department of Education, DepEd Region I, Schools Division Office of Pangasinan, education partners, teachers, school leaders, learners, and stakeholders whose collective efforts continue to support quality education.

After days of intense elimination matches held every afternoon, the 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 grounds erupted with excitement on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱 as the school’s top student-athletes battled for championship honors during the culminating day of the 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The championship afternoon brought together the finalists who survived the earlier rounds of competition, turning the school grounds into a showcase of determination, skill, teamwork, and school pride.

From the opening whistle to the final point, from fast-paced matches to traditional Filipino games, student-athletes proudly represented their respective grade-level teams, giving their best not only to win medals but also to demonstrate discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and fair play.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏
Unlike a single-day tournament, the road to the finals had already begun in the afternoons leading up to September 25. Elimination games were conducted every afternoon, giving student-athletes the opportunity to compete, advance, and earn their place in the championship matches.

Then came 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

The final matches featured some of the most anticipated competitions in the different events, including:

The diverse lineup gave students opportunities to showcase different kinds of skills—from speed, strength, strategy, agility, coordination, and precision to the traditional Filipino spirit of play.

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏
The afternoon was more than a battle for medals. It was a celebration of the sportsmanship, perseverance, discipline, and camaraderie that had developed throughout the entire Intramurals season.

Every athlete who stepped onto the playing field or competition area carried not only the colors of their grade level but also the pride of their classmates and teachers.

Some walked away as champions. Others earned silver or bronze. But every participant became part of a bigger victory—the celebration of healthy competition and unity among the learners of Anda National High School.

Today, we celebrate not only the journey ahead of our outgoing Administrative Officer I, Sir James Rey T. Carolino, but also the meaningful two years he has spent as part of the Anda National High School family.

Sir James, thank you for serving our school with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and quality service. Your commitment, reliability, and willingness to serve have made a meaningful difference in our school community. Your contributions and achievements will always be remembered and appreciated by the people you have worked with and served.
