[ LNK 2026 ] APPRECIATION POST

As we officially close this year’s Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who shared their time, effort, support, and presence throughout the celebration.

To the BARANGAY COUNCIL, thank you for your continued support, guidance, and trust in the youth. Your encouragement helped us create activities that brought the Katipunan ng Kabataan together.

To the SK COUNCIL, thank you for the dedication, teamwork, and countless efforts behind every activity. From planning and preparation to implementation, every contribution helped make LNK 2026 meaningful and memorable.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to The Scribe – The Official Publication of Candabong National High School for documenting and sharing the stories, moments, and highlights of our celebration.

To Hon. Jessica Deligero, thank you for your presence, support, and meaningful words that inspired our young people.

To Dr. Dorothy Joy Cabanes, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and inspiring message with the Katipunan ng Kabataan. Your words will continue to encourage our young people to lead, serve, and make a difference.

And a special thank you to our beloved Kusineras, Mrs. Crisanta Jandayan and Mrs. Lorena Tenio.

Thank you for preparing our meals, taking care of everyone, and making sure that no one went hungry throughout our activities. Your work may have happened behind the scenes, but your warmth, effort, and care were felt by everyone. Daghang salamat sa inyong duha!

To all our committees, volunteers, facilitators, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, daghang salamat. Every task, every preparation, and every helping hand contributed to making this celebration a success.

And, of course, to the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Candabongβ€”thank you for showing up, participating, and bringing your energy and enthusiasm to every activity. This celebration was made meaningful because of you.

LNK 2026 may have come to an end, but the memories we created, the lessons we learned, and the friendships we built will remain with us.

Building Connections. Strengthening Unity.

Team building was one of the highlights of Day 02 of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, bringing our young people together through fun, challenges, and teamwork.

The activity reminded us that every team becomes stronger when everyone listens, cooperates, and works toward one goal. Beyond the activities, it was a chance to create connections, build trust, and strengthen the spirit of unity among the youth.

[LNK 2026: DAY 02] | CLEAN-UP DRIVE

A Day of Service, Care, and Collective Action

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Candabong continued the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 with a clean-up drive at Cateres Cave and Bugnaw Sie.

The activity brought together young people of the community in a shared effort to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of our natural surroundings. Through teamwork and active participation, our youth demonstrated that meaningful change can begin with simple acts of service.

More than just a clean-up drive, this activity reflects the role of the youth in promoting environmental responsibility and taking part in building a cleaner and more sustainable community.
