“Sana maulit muli” ang masasayang salitang binigkas ng mga Senior Citizens ng Barangay Balibago nang dumalo sila at makatanggap ng kompletong pangangalaga sa medical mission na isinagawa noong ika 6 ng Abril sa Robinson’s Mall.

Ang programang ito ay sa pagtutulungan ng Divine Grace Birthing Homes, BSCC (Balibago Senior Citizens Council), Brgy. Senior Citizens Affairs Office (BSCAO) at ng Balibago Barangay Council sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Punong Barangay Kap. PG Ponce.

Naging magaan at masaya ang karanasan ng lahat ng dumalo, at taus-pusong nagpapasalamat sila sa pamunuan ng Balibago Barangay Council sa kanilang walang sawang suporta at malasakit.

The BSCC held its monthly meeting with Punong Barangay Kap Ponce and President Lakay Carino to discuss upcoming plans and programs aimed at supporting the Senior Citizens of Barangay Balibago. Ms. Jeng Gueco, the Executive Secretary, provided details about the upcoming Barangay Medical Mission, which will be conducted in partnership with Divine Grace Birthing Homes. The event will offer comprehensive medical examinations for the senior residents of Balibago, enhancing their access to healthcare services.

The wheelchair for Lola Marieta has successfully arrived, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Balibago Senior Citizens Affairs Office, led by President Lakay Carino. Their request was fulfilled through the support of Barangay Balibago and was made possible by a generous donation from Chairman Jonel Quebal of Barangay Fairview in Quezon City. The Punesto family from Diamond Subdivision in Balibago, Angeles City, expresses their heartfelt gratitude for this assistance.

Ang wheelchair ay agarang ibibigay sa isang benepisyario na nag-request kay Mr. Lakay. Nagpapasalamat din si Kapitan Oonce sa nagbigay ng wheelchair na si Punong Barangay Jonel Quebal ng Barangay Fairbiew Quezon City, Metro Manila. March 24, 2026.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC), through its Vulnerable Sectors Office (VSO), joins in the celebration of Grandparents' Week, recognizing and honoring our lolos and lolas for the important role that they play in society.

As we prepare for the 02 November 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, we encourage our lolos and lolas to continue making their voices heard. Their votes remain a powerful guide in choosing leaders who will serve our barangays with integrity and genuine care for the community.

We also remind everyone that the voter registration is ongoing! We encourage eligible voters, especially our lolos and lolas, to register or update their registration records at their local COMELEC office until 18 May 2026, from 8AM to 5PM. You may also register at the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) or Satellite Registration sites. Take part in the upcoming elections!
