KIYAPO INTENSIFIES INTO A TROPICAL STORM AS IT MOVES CLOSER TOWARDS EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON.
โฃ Location of Center (4:00 AM):
The center of Tropical Storm KIYAPO was estimated based on all available data at 345 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.2ยฐN, 124.9ยฐE).
โฃ Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 80 km/h, and central pressure of 998 hPa.
โฃ Present Movement:
West northwestward at 30 km/h
โฃ Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to gale-force winds extend outwards up to 450 km from the center
