PUBLIC ADVISORY

This is to inform the public that the San Jose-Quibal Road (Bitag Pequeño Bridge 1) in Baggao, Cagayan is TEMPORARILY CLOSED starting August 3, 2026 to August 6, 2026, from 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-7:00 PM to give way for the er****on of girders as part of the ongoing construction of the concrete bridge.

The public is advised to take alternate routes:

•Light Vehicles:
San Jose to Mocag Road, Baggao, Cagayan

•Heavy and Long Vehicles:
Peñablanca National Highway to Tuguegarao Road to Baybayug Junction Road, Alcala and Centro Road, Baggao to San Jose, Baggao

Informational and warning signs will be installed in the area to provide guidance and ensure the safety of the traveling public.

TRAVEL ADVISORY

This is to inform the public that the traffic flow will be diverted in areas near the Piggatan Bridge in Alcala, Cagayan, tomorrow, January 08, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.

•Light vehicles:
Piggatan Circumferential Road

•Heavy vehicles:
Baybayog-Baggao-Dalin-Sta.Margarita Road to Jct.Gattaran-Cumao-Capissayan-Sta Margarita Bolos Road and vice versa

Normal traffic flow will immediately resume after the inspection.

INFRAme I Tourism and economic activities in Sta. Teresita, Cagayan is expected to grow as the Department of Public Works and Highways – Cagayan 1st District Engineering Office (DPWH-CFDEO) completed the concreting of the Luga-Palagao Road, which leads to the famous Sinangraban, Tabaco, Bangalao, Allilaw, and Tangadan Caves.
