𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The training introduced students to Artificial Intelligence ()AI), its learning applications, and everyday activities. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities led by DICT, participants engaged with emerging technologies and gained a deeper understanding of their responsible use.

As part of the hands-on activities, students experienced 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, allowing them to explore the basics of creating digital outputs with the assistance of AI. They also accessed available learning resources and courses through the 𝗖𝗦𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, encouraging them to further develop their interest and skills in computer science and technology.

The session also featured discussions on 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲, emphasizing the importance of practicing safe and responsible digital habits, protecting personal information, recognizing online risks, and being mindful of cybersecurity threats.

Through this initiative, 𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 continue to bring digital learning opportunities closer to learners in rural communities, empowering students to become more knowledgeable, creative, and responsible users of technology. 🌐🤝

A well-deserved recognition for Apayao State College for stepping up to the challenge and representing their institution in the HackForGov 5 – Cordillera Regional Competition 💻, where they put their cybersecurity skills, teamwork, and determination to the test. 🔥

Going head-to-head with talented teams from colleges and universities across the Cordillera, our ASC Hackers showcased teamwork , critical thinking , perseverance , and a passion for learning as they tackled the demanding challenges of the Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition.

While the competition brought its share of demanding challenges, each one became an opportunity for our team to learn , grow, and strengthen their cybersecurity skills 🔐. Taking on the HackForGov 5 challenge is itself a testament to their courage , determination , and willingness to step beyond their comfort zone. 🫡

The DICT Cordillera Administrative Region, through DICT Apayao, successfully conducted the two-day eLGU Version 2 Admin Training and System Set-Up for the Municipal Government of Pudtol, Apayao, from August 3 to 4, 2026!

The activity opened with inspiring messages of support from LGOO VI Norman D. Venus and DICT Apayao Provincial Officer Ms. Mona Lisa V. Vizcarra, setting a clear direction for Pudtol's digital transformation journey.

Over the course of the program, participants engaged in intensive technical sessions covering an overview of the eLGU System, system configurations, and backend parameters. Day 1 focused on the structure and workflow of the eCedula module, reinforced through interactive, hands-on simulations. Day 2 expanded to the Local Civil Registry (LCR) and Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS) modules, diving into process flows, system settings, and practical exercises to strengthen their operational readiness.

This collaborative initiative brings LGU Pudtol closer to delivering faster, modernized, and transparent online services to its constituents through the eLGU System and eGovPH Super App.
