STREET-LEVEL DRUG SUSPECT ARRESTED IN IRIGA CITY; ₱122K WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED DURING SEARCH WARRANT OPERATION

As a result of intensified intelligence-driven operations, PRO 5, through the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office arrested a street-level individual following the service of a search warrant on March 3, 2026, at Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Iriga City.

Personnel of the Iriga City Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office V, led the operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspect known by the alias “Oli,” 48 years old.

Prior to the implementation of the search warrant, surveillance operations were conducted to validate reports regarding the suspect’s alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.

During the lawful search, authorities seized four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected “shabu”weighing more or less 18 grams, with a standard drug price of PhP 122,400.00.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Iriga CPS for proper documentation and disposition. The marking and inventory of the seized items were conducted at the place of operation in the presence of the suspect and the required witnesses, in accordance with established procedures.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect.

Isang simpleng turn over ceremony ng dalawang (2) electric mobile cars at pitong (7) Ta**us T4 assault rifles ang isinagawa sa Aroroy Municipal Police Station sa pamumuno ni PLTCOL ALLAN E MACOY JR ngayong araw ng huwebes, ika - 8 ng Agosto taong kasalukuyan sa mismong 123rd Police Service Anniversary. Ang mga electric mobile cars at dagdag na baril ay taos pusong binigay ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Aroroy sa pamumuno ni HON. ARTURO B VIRTUCIO, Aroroy Municipal Mayor upang ipakita ang kanyang pakikiisa at suporta sa kapulisan.

Sinimulan ang nasabing aktibidad sa isang panalangin na pinangunahan ni REV. FR. JOSEPH BRAVANTE, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish Church. Sa mensaheng ipinahayag ni PLTCOL MACOY, kanyang binigyang diin na ang dagdag nabaril at dalawang electronic mobile cars na ito ay malaking tulong sa pagpapatupad at pagpapaigting ng kampanya kontra krimenalidad at pagpapatrolya sa mga kalsada at pampublikong lugar sa bayan ng Aroroy.

Lubos din ang pasasalamat ni PCOL LIANE M VAN DE VELDE, Provincial Director, Masbate Police Provincial Office na personal dumalo sa nasabing aktibidad sa umaapaw na suporta at tiwalang binibigay ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Aroroy.

Samantalang, labis namang natutuwa ang Alkalde sa mga kapulisan ng Aroroy MPS dahil sa pagpapanatili nito ng kaayusan sa bayan. Kaugnay nito ay ipinangako din niya na patuloy siyang susuporta sa mga programa ng kapulisan.
