Asuncion Municipal Planning and Development Office

The Local Government Unit of Asuncion through the Municipal Planning and Development Office underwent the PLUC Review for its Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and Zoning Ordinance (ZO) 2024–2033 on February 27, 2026. After more than a year of preparation, collaboration, and refinement, the Municipality welcomes the committee’s technical insights to further enhance and finalize the plan towards its final approval.

The Local Government Unit of Asuncion through the Municipal Planning and Development Office submitted the Draft Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance 2024-2033 to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development XI for Provincial Land Use Committee Review.

Thank you to all stakeholders who had been part of this momentous journey of this 10-year delevelopment plan of the LGU through the leadership from the Executive Department, Hon. Mayor Atty. Rosario R. Dayaday and the support of Legislative Department through Hon. Vice Mayor Atty. Eufracio P. Dayaday Jr., MPA.

Luyo sa maula-ulan nga panahon, nagmalampuson ang ikatulong hugna sa Comprehensive Land Use Plan (2024-2033) Public Consultation sa Cluster 3. Ang kalihokan gipahigayon Nobyembre 16, 2025, alas 1:00 sa hapon sa Asuncion Cultural Gym, ug gitambongan sa walo ka barangay nga sakop sa cluster: Buclad, Cabaywa, Canatan, Cambanogoy, Camoming, New Bantayan, Magatos ug San Vicente.

Dako kaayo ang among pagpasalamat sa inyong padayon nga suporta ug aktibong partisipasyon pinaagi sa inyong presensya sa maong konsultasyon.

Ang presensya sa atong mga opisyal nga gipangulohan sa atong Mayor Atty. Rosario “Charry” R. Dayaday, uban atong mga Department Heads nga sila Edgar T. Castillo, RN, DPA (LDRRMO), Alan Q. Monteroso (MENRO Designate), Girlie H. Quezon, RSW, MPD (Tourism and Housing Officer), atong MPDC EnP. Iris Hope R. Cantiga, MBA, ug mga Kapitan nga sila Emeliano Rabe ug Janeth Tagud nagpakita sa lig-on nga panaghiusa ug tinud-anay nga tinguha para sa padayon nga kauswagan sa lungsod.

Malampuson usab natong napahigayon ang Public Consultation para sa Comprehensive Land Use Plan (2023–2033) alang sa ikaduhang cluster nga gilangkuban sa walo ka mga barangay nga mao ang Barangays Concepcion, Doña Andrea, Napungas, New Loon, New Santiago, Pamacaun , Sagayen ug Sta. Felomina. Bisan pa sa maulan nga panahon, dako kaayo ang among pagpasalamat sa inyong padayon nga suporta ug aktibong partisipasyon pinaagi sa inyong presensya sa maong kalihokan.

Ang presensya sa atong mga opisyal nga gipanguluhan ni Mayor Atty. Rosario “Charry” R. Dayaday, kauban ang SB Member Hon. Alvin S. Almeda Sr. ug mga Department Heads nga sila Edgar T. Rosario “Charry” R. Dayaday, SB members Hon. Alvin S. Almeda Sr. and Datu Denis Pilo, MPDC EnP. Iris Hope R. Cantiga, MBA, LDRRMO Edgar T. Castillo, RN, DPA, Tourism and Housing Officer , Girlie H. Quezon, RSW, MPD ug mga kapitan sa barangay, Punong Barangay Eugenia Alfar, Dedina Callino ug Wilfredo Libuangan. Padayon kita sa pagpaningkamot alang sa kalamboan ug kaayohan sa komunidad.

Hinaut nga kining panagtapok mahimong usa ka hinungdanon nga lakang padulong sa nagpadayong pag-uswag sa lungsod sa Asuncion.

Dako usab ang among pasalamat sa tanan nga naggahin sa ilang oras ug nagpakita og suporta sa maong kalihokan. Magkahiusa ta alang sa mas maayong kaugmaon.

Ang Lokal nga Gobyerno sa Asuncion magpahigayon og Public Consultation alang sa Updating/Revision sa Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). Gihangyo ang partisipasyon sa publiko aron mahatag ang mga suhestiyon ug komento nga makatabang sa pagplano sa hapsay ug sustenableng kalamboan sa atong lungsod.

Maayong adlaw sa tanan!

Gipang-apod-apod na sa matag barangay ang indibidwal nga mga sulat alang sa mga apektadong luna ubos sa proposed land use plan, ug gipangplastar na usab ang mga tarpaulin isip dugang impormasyon kabahin sa umaabot nga kalihokan (CLUP Public Consultation).

The Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and Zoning Ordinance (ZO) Public Hearing/Consultation Board Orientation and Sectoral Analysis was successfully conducted on October 28,2025, at the Audio Visual Room (AVR) of the Municipal Government of Asuncion.

The activity was spearheaded by the Municipal Planning and Development Office headed by EnP. Iris Hope R. Cantiga, MBA, the MPDC. The event was graced by the Honorable Municipal Mayor Atty. Rosario R. Dayaday, together with the Public Hearing/Consultation Board members constituted under Executive Order No. 2025-050. Also in attendance were the sector and sub sectors, their respective focal persons, and concerned department heads and employees.

The orientation was facilitated by Ms. Katrina May Diesca, Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer II , the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) CLUP Focal Person of Davao del Norte.

The primary objectives of the activity was to provide a systematic approach to consensus-building on the final draft of the CLUP and ZO, ensuring that all stakeholders and sectoral representatives were well-informed and engage prior to its submission for approval and ratification.

This participatory approach underscore’s the municipality’s commitment to inclusive and evidence-based land use planning, ensuring that development directions align with the needs and aspirations of all sectors in Asuncion.
