πΏ Community Walkthrough Conducted in Barangay Sta. Catalina, Atimonan, Quezon πΏ
As part of the Participatory Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (PRVA), a Community Walkthrough was successfully conducted in Barangay Sta. Catalina, Atimonan, Quezon, with the active participation of community volunteers, barangay officials, and stakeholders.
The activity was joined by CDO Liezle C. Eusebio, who visited and assessed Bantakay Falls, one of Atimonan's known tourist attractions. During the walkthrough, participants observed that the falls is currently experiencing a minimal water flow, highlighting the importance of understanding environmental conditions and identifying potential risks that may affect local tourism, natural resources, and community livelihoods.
The Community Walkthrough served as an opportunity to validate local observations, gather relevant information, and strengthen community awareness in building resilience against existing and emerging hazards.
Thank you to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Sta. Catalina, community volunteers, and all participants for their valuable support and cooperation in making this activity successful.
