🔔 LOOK: CIIS PARTICIPATES IN NATIONWIDE ACTIVE SHOOTER SAFETY DRILL 🔔
Safety, vigilance, and readiness in action! 🛡️📚
Earlier today, September 3, 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM, Caridad Ilaya Integrated School actively participated in the Nationwide School Safety Drill for Active Shooter Incidents. Upon the sound of the siren alarm, our learners, teachers, and school personnel immediately executed life-saving emergency protocols.
Here is a breakdown of today's successfully executed drill:
🚨 Immediate Response & Communication: School personnel instantly contacted local emergency authorities, providing critical site updates and vital information to initiate crisis support.
🏃 Elementary Level (RUN Phase): Positioned far from the simulated threat, our young learners executed the "RUN" strategy, swiftly moving toward designated safe meeting areas.
🔒 Secondary Level (HIDE Phase): Secondary students implemented the "HIDE" strategy. Guided by their classroom teachers, doors were locked, lights turned off, and entrances barricaded for maximum protection.
🙌 Evacuation Phase: Following the clearance signal, learners safely moved to the evacuation ground with their hands raised above their heads in accordance with official safety procedures.
👨👩👧 Reunification Protocol: Guided by our dedicated teachers, parents orderly picked up their children at the designated parent-learner reunification site.
After the drill, our SDRRM Coordinator addressed the school community to highlight the vital importance of disaster preparedness, reminding everyone that continuous practice builds a safe and resilient learning environment.
