Quezon City's Order for Third Week.
Maraming Salamat! ๐๐ฝ
I was just so emotionally happy, when I received a call from maam Cherry of OMAg for my dad who enlisted for Patatas. Ganun pala ang feeling na walang back-up from a politician. I did not influence OMAG's decision na ichoose ang farmer dad ko to bring 350kilos of patatas for Project Ubbo under QC's Order. But it was his time kasi nakapila din siya sa listahan. Siguro proud lang ako na nalagpasan ang challenge na huwag unahin ni Kelly sa listahan ang tatay niya. Wohoooo.
Team OMAg is doing their best to follow the guidelines we posted earlier.
My unending gratittude to team OMAg, and volunteers, the farmers for their patience and understanding, the Atok LGU & Barangay LGUs, for extending resources the project needs, BAEWs, MAFC Members, our partner Institutions, Atok GAP Practitioner Association (AGPA), Pansigedan, COSFARM, Harvest & Hope, and all friends who keep promoting, ordering, and referring us to potential partner-buyers. (Narigat gayam maysa-maysaen adu ti hanko nabanggit hihi). The hardwork & efforts on the ground comes from you.
Strengthening Institutions like the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAg) without political motives is one of the Project Ubbo's advocacy, along-side with fair-pricing, data, and transparent project management.
will put super patronage politics to decline. Sana gawin din ito ng DSWD, DOLE, CHED, DA at iba pang mga ahensiya.
We recognize that Project Ubbo cannot accommodate all enlisted vegetables and that this is only a temporary solution. Still, the team hopes that it brings relief to the farmers.
We could have simply pushed for cash dole-outs, but farmers would better appreciate it if the vegetables they had cared for for more than three monthsโalmost every day from 6 AM to 6 PMโwould not go to waste.
Atok Farmers still have tons of cabbages available. For rescue-buy partners, please contact us through viber 09178188455/ this FB Page/ email: [email protected]
Abgiyag!
