03 SEPTEMBER 2026 | EMS RESPONSE
The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the strong leadership of 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗟 𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗟, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Acting Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, the personnel of Aurora Municipal Fire Station, led by 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐆 𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, responded to an Emergency Medical Response at Aurora MFS, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. A walk-in patient arrived at the station seeking medical assistance after experiencing dizziness while walking. The duty personnel immediately assisted the patient to a comfortable seated position, advised him to rest, and placed him under observation. His condition was monitored accordingly, and appropriate assistance was provided based on him presenting condition. The patient was reassessed and found to be in stable condition. The patient subsequently left the station.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the strong leadership of 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗟 𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗟, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Acting Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, the personnel of Aurora Municipal Fire Station, led by 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐆 𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, responded to an Emergency Medical Response at Aurora MFS, Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. During the dry run of the simultaneous active attack/active shooting incident drill at Aurora National High School, one student reported to BFP personnel that another student was experiencing rapid and heavy breathing. Shift A duty personnel, together with MDRRMO personnel and the school nurse, immediately assisted the patient onto a spine board and transferred her to a more comfortable room. BFP personnel advised the patient to relax and breathe normally. She was placed under close observation, and her condition was continuously monitored. Appropriate assistance was provided based on her presenting condition. The patient was reassessed and found to be in stable condition. She was advised to seek further medical evaluation and management at the nearest medical facility; however, she refused transport after the associated risks and medical recommendations were explained to her.

01 September 2026 || FIRE DRILL AND FIRE SAFETY ORIENTATION
IN PHOTOS || The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the strong leadership of FSSUPT KADIL T ACALUL, DSC, Acting Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT LUCIO P ALBARACIN, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal, the personnel of Aurora Municipal Fire Station, led by FSINSP MAR G RABAGO, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Fire Drill and Fire Safety Orientation in Santa Teresita Academy Inc., Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

The activity was conducted to enhance the participants' awareness, preparedness, and appropriate response during fire emergencies. It emphasized the importance of discipline, coordination, and the proper ex*****on of life-saving evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of everyone in the school.
Through continuous fire safety education, training, and drills, the Bureau of Fire Protection remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting public safety and fostering safer, more prepared, and more resilient communities.
