EMERGENCY WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION – APRIL 17, 2026

To our Valued Consumers in Ayungon:

We would like to provide an urgent update regarding the water service in your area.

Our technical team initially conducted a first-hand repair on the Transmission Line following damage caused by a recent wildfire. However, upon restoration and system testing, additional extensive damage was discovered further along the line that requires immediate, secondary emergency intervention.

- Kang-igsok & Ilaya, Poblacion
- Atabay, Awa-an

🗓️ DATE: April 17, 2026 (Friday)
🕗 TIME: Repairs are ongoing until further notice.
🔧 REASON: Undiscovered secondary damage on the Biantigue Transmission Line (Wildfire-related).

We understand how difficult it is to have service interrupted, especially in this heat. Our team is working double-time on-site to resolve these newly discovered leaks and restore your water supply as quickly as possible.

SERVICE UPDATE: BRGY. TIBYAWAN EMERGENCY REPAIR

As of today, April 14, 2026, our technical team has commenced the full replacement of the main distribution pipeline damaged by yesterday's wildfire.

AFFECTED AREA: Brgy. Tibyawan
STATUS: Pipe replacement is currently in progress.

ESTIMATED RESTORATION: Our team is working double-time to restore water service at the earliest possible time. We will provide a follow-up post once the system begins to repressurize.

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE ADVISORY

Please be advised that in observance of the Holy Week and in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 116, office operations at the Ayungon Water District will be suspended starting tomorrow, Wednesday (April 1), through Thursday (April 2), and Friday (April 3).

🗓️ Regular office operations will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Please take note of our adjusted service schedule during this period:

🏢 Office Personnel: NO WORK starting tomorrow, April 1.

💵 Collection & Office Tellering: HALF-DAY operations only on Wednesday, April 1.

💳 Payment Alternatives: For your convenience, you may still pay your bills via Landbank, LinkBiz Portal, or Palawan Pawnshop.

💧 Field Operations: NORMAL DUTY. Our technical team remains on duty to ensure uninterrupted water services. For any concerns, you may call/text our hotline or message us directly here on our page.

📝 Orientation Seminars: Will proceed AS PLANNED for all new applicants.

PUBLIC ADVISORY: UPDATED WORK SCHEDULE 📢

To our valued concessionaires and the people of Ayungon:

Please be informed that in compliance with Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 114, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President, the Ayungon Water District has implemented a new work schedule.

For this current week, please note that our administrative office will only be open until today, Thursday, March 26, 2026.

To ensure continuous service while complying with the mandate, here is our updated schedule moving forward:

🏢 OFFICE PERSONNEL
- Schedule: 4-Day Work Week (Monday to Thursday)
- Office Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

💧 FIELD WORKERS, COLLECTIONS & TELLERS
- Schedule: Normal 5-Day Work Week (Monday to Friday)
- Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Please note that our tellering, collection, and field operations will remain on their regular 5-day schedule so that payments and on-the-ground services remain uninterrupted.

🌊 World Water Day 2026: Flowing Together with Team AyWD! 💧💜

In solidarity with the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) theme, “Water and Gender: Isang Agos para sa Karapatan at Pagkakapantay-pantay,” the Ayungon Water District participated in celebrating World Water Day through sports, fellowship, and fitness. It was an eventful week of connecting with our fellow water districts and the local community.

From a friendly pickleball tournament and a warm fellowship night to running for a cause at the First Kauban Half Marathon, we were proud to represent AyWD and support inclusive water and WASH advocacy.

We extend our deep gratitude to all our dedicated employees—especially the incredible women of AyWD who help lead and drive our service forward every day.
