The Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) is dedicated to shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for the municipality. Responsible for creating comprehensive development and land use plans, coordinating projects, conducting research, and monitoring implementation, the MPDC ensures that all initiatives align with local and national policies. Guided by the Local Government Code of 1991 (RA 7160), the office plays a vital role in fostering collaboration across sectors, providing technical assistance, and engaging stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and deliver community-focused development initiatives.

In compliance with 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟮𝟲, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, issued by the Office of the Municipal Mayor, the OMPDC will implement the 𝟰-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗻-𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 (𝗪𝗙𝗛) 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, effective 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Our office will remain reachable through official communication channels (email, chat, phone) during WFH hours. Transactions requiring on-site processing may be coordinated in advance for Monday–Thursday.

This arrangement supports the LGU's energy conservation measures while ensuring continuous and responsive delivery of public services.

To support national energy conservation efforts and in compliance with LGU Baao Memo Order No. 28, s. 2026, the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) will observe a 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 beginning 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. This adjustment ensures that our office remains responsive to the community's needs while contributing to global sustainability and resource management goals.

By consolidating our operations, we aim to significantly reduce energy consumption while maintaining full service to the public.
