Due to the anticipated effects of Tropical Depression "Opong," the PCSA celebration scheduled for tomorrow, September 25, 2025, has been canceled. This decision was made to ensure the safety of all attendees.

The event will be rescheduled for a later date once weather conditions have improved. We will provide an update with the new schedule as soon as it is available.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: LGU Baao proudly took part in the celebration of the 𝟭𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 carrying the theme“𝘽𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙞, 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞: 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙤, 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡, 𝙖𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣.”

Our delegation first joined the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on September 5, 2025 at the Fuerte Sports Complex in Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur and returned with the same spirit of unity for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗣𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻 on September 7, 2025 at the Capitol Complex, an event that not only promoted health and wellness but also raised support for the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) program. A huge shoutout to our three delegates who were among the first finishers. Both events were filled with camaraderie and pride, proving that public service is not just a duty, but a passion.

But the celebration isn't over yet! Another event is happening right here at home. We're getting ready for our 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at the 𝗕𝗮𝗮𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, where government employees from different agencies in our municipality will gather for a day of friendly games, wellness activities, and shared moments that strengthen our bonds as one civil-service family. ANNOUNCEMENT | In line with Memorandum Circular No. 81 issued by the Office of the President, which allows government offices to adopt a work-from-home arrangement on April 16, 2025, and in observance of Holy Wednesday, the following work schedule and arrangements will be implemented:

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓:

• 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺-𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽: Government employees are authorized to work from home from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
• 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸: Work will be suspended from 12:00 NN onwards for all non-frontline offices and departments
•𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: Offices whose functions involve frontline/essential services (e.g., health facilities, public markets, sanitation, disaster response, and other vital services who are scheduled to report for duty on the abovementioned date and time shall report to work and continue performing their respective regular functions.

This advisory is issued to provide guidance to all employees and the public regarding the adjusted work schedule in observance of the Holy Week.

𝗛𝗥 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

The cascading of information on the four core HR areas continued with a discussion on the Rewards and Recognition (R&R) policy. The orientation was held on January 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Mayor’s Office Conference Room, led by Ms. Arlene F. Mapa, Vice Chairman of the R&R Technical Working Group.

Ms. Arlene presented the key updates to the agency's R&R policy. She emphasized the importance of recognizing employees' contributions to boost morale, increase productivity, and foster a culture of excellence within LGU Baao. The session covered the different forms of recognition and the criteria for receiving rewards under the updated policy.

The session provided employees with a clearer understanding of how the customized R&R program aligns with the organization’s overall objectives, ensuring that hard work and dedication are properly acknowledged.

The rollout of information on the updated HR Policies has officially begun. The first session was held today, January 21, 2025, at the Mayor’s Office Conference Room. Scheduled for discussion today was one of the core areas of HR: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP). This topic was thoroughly discussed by Mr. Erwin Contreras, Chairman of the Technical Working Group on RSP, who also presented the approved Merit Selection Plan for LGU Baao. Other related matters were also addressed by Ms. Arlita Britanico. This session highlighted the importance of careful hiring and placing the right employees in the right roles to build a skilled and capable workforce. By aligning the workforce with the organization’s long-term goals, these efforts ensure that everyone is on the same page and moving forward together.
