MAINIT NA PAGBATI NGAYONG PANAHON NG TAGULAN BNHSIANS!
September is not just a month of mental health awareness; itโs a time to foster understanding, break stigma, and advocate for well-being every day. It reminds us that mental health matters year-round and that we all have a role in supporting one another. Letโs commit to open conversations, share our stories, and create a community where everyone feels safe and valued. Together, we can inspire change, promote resilience, and ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone."
Like the achievement of Mental Health Club of BNHS who just participated from the KUMUSTAHAN Mental Health Youth Camp held on September 13, 2024, at the Bacnotan Conference Center at Bacnotan Central School, and We are overflowing with gratitude and inspiration!
This incredible experience brought together young minds from diverse backgrounds, all united under the common goal of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we shared our stories and learned valuable coping strategies to help navigate the ups and downs of life.
The workshops were enlightening, and the discussions were heartfelt. It was empowering to witness such openness and vulnerability among participants. We engaged in activities that fostered connection, self-discovery, and personal growth. It reminded me of how important it is to create safe spaces where everyone feels heard and valued.
A very warm full thanks to the Provincial Government of La Union, led by Hon. Governor Rafy Ortega-David, and the Local Government Unit of Bacnotan, led by Mayor Divine Fontanilla, for their unwavering support in making this camp possible! Your commitment to promoting mental health awareness in our community is truly commendable. ๐๐ช
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers, facilitators, and everyone involved in making this camp a success. You are all champions of mental health advocacy! Your passion and dedication inspire us to continue spreading awareness and support for mental health.
Letโs keep the conversation going, support one another, and remember that itโs okay not to be okay. Mental health matters, and together we can foster a community where everyone feels empowered to seek help and share their experiences.
