📍 NTC NIR Mobile Licensing Services Successfully Conducted in San Juan, Siquijor

Bringing government services closer to the people!

The National Telecommunications Commission – Negros Island Region (NTC NIR) successfully conducted its Mobile Licensing Services in the Municipality of San Juan, Siquijor from July 1–3, 2026, spearheaded by Regional Director Jovita V. Chongco together with the dedicated NTC NIR team reaffirming its commitment to making telecommunications regulatory services more accessible to communities across the region.

The three-day activity was made possible through the strong partnership and support of the Local Government Unit of San Juan, under the leadership of Hon. Rubilyn M. Ragay, Municipal Mayor.

Residents, radio operators, and stakeholders benefited from a range of frontline services, including:

✅ Restricted Radio Land Mobile Permit(RLMP) Seminar
✅ Scam Awareness Information Campaign
✅ Acceptance and Processing of Radio License Applications
✅ Acceptance and Processing of Mobile Phone Retailer/Reseller Permit Applications

NTC NIR extends its heartfelt appreciation to the LGU of San Juan, Siquijor, headed by Hon. Rubilyn M. Paano makaiwas?

✔️ Suriin ang profile o page ng seller.
✔️ Basahin ang reviews at feedback mula sa ibang buyers.
✔️ Mag-ingat sa presyong "too good to be true."
✔️ Huwag agad magpadala ng bayad sa personal accounts.
✔️ Mas mainam kung may Cash on Delivery (COD) o meet-up sa ligtas na lugar.
✔️ Humingi ng updated photos o videos ng item bilang patunay na hawak talaga ito ng seller.
✔️ Kung maaari, gumamit ng mga platform na may buyer protection.

Tandaan: Huwag magpadala sa sobrang murang alok. Mas mabuting maglaan ng ilang minuto sa pag-verify kaysa mawalan ng pinaghirapang pera.

Maging mapanuri. Maging responsable. Huwag maging susunod na biktima ng online scam.
