✨ KAKASA KA BA SA SK? ✨
Today, Barangay Taculing proudly welcomed aspiring youth leaders for “KAKASA KA BA SA SK?”, a meaningful leadership and orientation program spearheaded by the DILG Family headed by Mr. Christian Nagaynay and the SK Federation of Bacolod City headed by SK Federation President Hon. Danna Marie Barzo. 🫶🏻
As the host barangay, we are honored to have welcomed everyone under the leadership of Liga ng mga Barangay President Hon. Lady Gles Gonzales-Pallen, together with the Barangay Taculing Council and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Taculing, headed by SK Chairperson Hon. Bea Kryshia Pabular and Council. 🫶🏻
Before the program officially began, participants joined a Kalinisan Program, demonstrating that leadership starts with taking responsibility for our surroundings and working together to keep our communities clean. It was a meaningful reminder that public service begins with simple acts of volunteerism and community care. 🍃🧹
We are also grateful for the active participation of the SK Chairpersons, council members, aspiring SK officials, and youth leaders from Cluster 3—Barangays 13, 25, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, Mansilingan, Singcang, and Taculing. 🫶🏻
This activity was designed to prepare and inspire the next generation of youth leaders by equipping them with a deeper understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and realities of serving as SK officials. More than discussing policies and responsibilities, the program encouraged participants to embrace leadership with integrity, accountability, and a genuine heart for public service. 📝
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of Congressman Albee Benitez for generously sponsoring our snacks through the Soup on Wheels program, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of throughout the activity. 💙
To everyone who joined us today, thank you for investing your time in learning and growing. May this be the beginning of a new generation of empowered, compassionate, and service-driven leaders who are ready to make a positive impact in their respective communities. 🫶🏻
