❤️ A Gift of Presence, A Heart Full of Love ❤️
While the busy streets of Negros come alive with the colors, music, and festivities of MassKara Festival, a group of generous young leaders chose to celebrate in a different but equally beautiful way: by giving their time, talents, and presence to the children and lolas at the Missionaries of Charity – House of Joy. 🥰
In collaboration with the College of Health and Allied Professions Council of Colegio de San Agustin CSA-B College of Health and Allied Professions Council , our young volunteers brought not only food and activities, but also care, knowledge, and genuine friendship.
🩹 They conducted basic hygiene and health sessions, teaching proper handwashing, wound care, and basic first aid.
🙏 They shared the gift of faith through catechism and gave rosary beads to our recipients—a particularly meaningful gesture during October, the Month of the Holy Rosary.
🍜 They also prepared pancit and barbecue to share with the children, lolas, helpers, and Sisters, turning an ordinary meal into a beautiful expression of love and community.
But perhaps the most precious gift they offered was something that cannot be measured or wrapped: the gift of being present. In a world that often moves too fast, they chose to slow down, listen, serve, and make others feel remembered and loved
