TGSNHS JOINS THE 2026 WORLD TEACHERS’ MONTH KICK-OFF CEREMONY!

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School proudly joins the celebration of World Teachers’ Month 2026, honoring the men and women who dedicate their lives to shaping minds, nurturing dreams, and inspiring the next generation.

The 2026 World Teachers’ Month Kick-Off Ceremony marks the beginning of a month-long celebration of gratitude, appreciation, and recognition for our hardworking and passionate teachers.

The celebration was made even more meaningful with the presence of ACT Teachers Party-list Representative Antonio L. Tinio, whose continued advocacy for teachers and the education sector highlights the importance of recognizing, supporting, and empowering our educators.

As educators, our teachers go beyond the classroom. They become mentors, role models, motivators, and second parents—continuously guiding learners toward excellence and helping them become responsible and empowered individuals.

This celebration is a reminder that behind every successful learner is a teacher who believed, encouraged, and never gave up.

May this month-long celebration remind us that teaching is more than a profession—it is a noble mission of touching lives and transforming futures.❤️

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School successfully conducted the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill on September 3, 2026, as part of the school's continuing commitment to ensuring a safe, prepared, and resilient learning environment for all learners and personnel.

The drill brought together the TGSNHS faculty and staff, students, Barangay Tanods, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, demonstrating the importance of strong coordination and collaboration among the school and its community partners during emergency situations.

Through this activity, our learners and personnel were given the opportunity to practice appropriate emergency responses, strengthen situational awareness, and familiarize themselves with safety procedures and designated protocols.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our Barangay Tanods, Brgy. Council and EMS Team for extending their valuable support and assistance, and to our dedicated faculty and staff, the NSSSD Planning Team headed by our School Principal Ma'am Anna J. Bacolod and DRRM Coordinator, Sir Mark Anthony V. Tomaquin and responsible students for their active participation and cooperation.

The success of this drill reminds us that preparedness is a shared responsibility. By working together, we build a school community that is more capable, responsive, and resilient in times of emergencies.

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School successfully conducted the National School Safety Drill Orientation with the participation of Kap Lindy De Leon , Punong Barangay, Kagawad Elizalde Benedicto the Committee Chairperson of Peace and Order, and the Bacolod City Police Office – Police Station 7.

The orientation served as an important avenue for coordination, collaboration, and strengthening partnerships among the school, barangay, and law enforcement in preparation for the upcoming school safety drills.

Through this collective effort, our stakeholders work together to ensure that appropriate response protocols are understood, communication lines are strengthened, and everyone is better prepared to respond to emergencies and protect our learners and personnel.
