MANUAL LOAD DROPPING (MLD) SCHEDULE
October 21, 2026 (Wednesday)

Due to the alert levels declared by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) today, Distribution Utilities (DUs) in the Visayas, including Negros Power, have been directed to implement possible power interruptions through Manual Load Dropping (MLD).

As per NGCP, in their advisory today via https:https://www.facebook.com/share/p/193FckwQj3/, Due to limited generation supply from Mindanao.

Factor/s that contributed to the RED and YELLOW Alert declarations:

1. Unavailability of Visayas' large coal plants TVI 1, TVI 2, and PEDC 3
2. Limited power import from the Mindanao Grid

At present, the following feeders are being considered for possible MLD implementation (refer to the photo provided).
Please be advised that the schedule, duration, and affected feeders may change at any time, depending on the actual condition of the power system and/or further directives from NGCP.
Negros Power continues to closely coordinate with NGCP and will provide updates as necessary.
