🌊💚 CLEAN SEAS, STRONGER COMMUNITIES! 💙🌱

Today, September 19, 2026, the DENR Negros Island Region, DENR PENRO Negros Occidental, and CENRO Bago spearheaded the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) at BREDCO Port, Reclamation, Bacolod City, bringing together government agencies, private partners, businesses, and young environmental advocates for one shared mission: a cleaner sea and a more resilient community. 🌏🤝

🧹 234 sacks and 34 plastic/garbage bags of collected waste were gathered, composed of various single-use plastics (SUPs), plastic bottles and containers, sachets, styrofoam, diapers, and other marine litter. Estimated total: ~1,740–2,510 kg
But beyond the numbers, today’s cleanup showed what we can accomplish when everyone takes part. 💪🌊
Our heartfelt appreciation to all 150 strong and committed partners and volunteers who joined this meaningful effort:
