“Hindi salita. Kundi pagsuko:
Not Words. But Surrender.”

"Ano ang mabuting bagay na gagawin ko upang magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan?" (Mateo 19:16). Sumagot si Jesus ayon sa tanong niya: "Kung ibig mong pumasok sa buhay, tuparin mo ang mga utos."

Ngunit nang sabihin ng lalaki na tinutupad na niya ang mga ito, ipinakita ni Jesus ang tunay niyang problema—ang puso niyang nakakapit sa kayamanan. Umalis siyang malungkot dahil mas mahal niya ang kayamanan kaysa sa Diyos.

Pagkatapos nito, sinabi ni Jesus na "sa tao ito ay imposible, ngunit sa Diyos ang lahat ng bagay ay posible" (Mateo 19:26). Iyan ang punto ng kwento: walang naliligtas sa pamamagitan ng pagsunod sa kautusan, kundi sa biyaya ng Diyos.

Kaya hindi salungat ang turo ni Jesus sa Ephesians 2:8–9. Ang kautusan ay nagpapakita ng ating kakulangan, ngunit si Cristo ang nagbibigay ng kaligtasan. Ang pagsunod ay bunga ng kaligtasan, hindi ang batayan nito.

I was first drawn to Mr. Charlie Kirk when I saw him on social media boldly standing for Jesus and defending God’s truth in a public debate with the LGBT community. His courage amazed me, and I deeply admired the conviction with which he shared God’s Word using his wisdom and expertise. From that moment, I found myself eagerly following his updates and watching his new videos online.

That’s why I was truly dismayed when I learned about his sudden and tragic death. At first, I thought it was just another edited story online—but it was real.

Sharing God’s Word in public is never easy. It takes boldness, and at times it can even be dangerous. Yet, Charlie stood firm and used his platform to point people toward Jesus. His life is a reminder that no matter the risks, the calling to share God’s truth remains urgent and vital.

May we also have the same courage to stand for Christ wherever we are, until the day we meet faithful witnesses like him again in God’s eternal kingdom.

Never cause your spouse to be a Detective.

There is nothing your spouse should not know about.

Always be open, transparent, reachable and accessible at all times.

Be where you said you would be.

If the unexpected happens as they sometimes do, call your spouse and keep them in the loop.

If you are planning on doing something you think your partner might be uncomfortable with, then dont do it.

If you have a friendship or relationship that your spouse should not know about, then you should not have that friendship or relationship.

If you have anything on your phone that you do not want your spouse to see, then you shouldn't have that thing on your phone in the first place.

If you receive calls or text messages that you do not want your spouse to hear or read then you shouldn't be receiving them and the numbers should be blocked from your phone.

There is no room for secrets in a relationship. Give your spouse open access to your entire life at all times.

Take my advice and always remember...

Transparency is the foundation on which deep intimacy is built.
