The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Singcang-Airport sends its warmest and deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 a success. This big event would not have been possible without the love, time, and effort shared by our supportive leaders, speakers, partners, and active youth.
Our celebration focused heavily on our theme, Safe minds, Strong Bodies, Resilient Spaces: Singcangnon youth leading the way. Through your hard work, we successfully completed four major seminars that gave important life skills and knowledge to our community.
First, we want to thank our Punong Barangay, Kap Rosinie Distrito, for fully supporting all the activities and programs of the SK. Your all-out backing gives us the energy to do more for our peers. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Councilor Caesar Distrito for your endless support, guidance, and love for the Singcangnon youth.
We also want to express our great appreciation to the Barangay Singcang National High School SSLG. Thank you so much ma’am Bayoneta, student leaders and participants for your lively energy and active participation. Thank you also for letting us use the school gymnasium, which served as the perfect venue for our event.
A huge thank you goes to our dedicated guest speakers and health partners who shared their valuable knowledge with us:
* For teaching us about mental well-being and breaking the stigma, thank you to Sir John Philip Rollo, RN, for handling the Mental Health Awareness session.
* For guiding our youth toward a safe and clean lifestyle, thank you to PSMg Warren Clomata and Sir BJ Laurel for leading the Anti-Drug Symposium.
* For promoting community health and providing free services, thank you to Negros Occidental Medical Society (NOMS), AMLIG health center, PCOM, and PSMID for the HIV Community Awareness and Testing drive.
* For teaching us life-saving skills, thank you to BDRRM Head Arliss Franz Claur and the active BDRRM Youth Volunteers for facilitating the Basic Life Support and Disaster Preparedness training.
To all the youth leaders & KK officials present, thank you for showing up and standing up for our Barangay. Your presence proves that the youth of Singcang are ready to lead and serve.
Lastly, shoutout to the SK Council headed by SK Chairman Misaki Baylon and Staff. Thank you for your dedication, sleepless nights, and unity. It was our teamwork that made this big project a beautiful reality.
Salute to everyone who became a part of this journey. Let us continue to work hand in hand to build a safer, healthier, and more resilient Barangay Singcang-Airport!
