The LTO Bacolod City District Office paid a courtesy visit to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) to discuss Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5314, or the Revised Guidelines on the Use of Improvised Temporary Plates and Prohibition on the Usage of Fake License Plates, pursuant to LTO Memorandum Circular No. VDM-2025-4674.

Under the leadership of LTO NIR OIC-Regional Director Jeck D. Conlu and Assistant Regional Director Monico A. Puentevella, Jr., the memorandum was discussed by LTO BCDO Chief Renato S. Novero.

LTO BCDO expresses its appreciation to PNP Regional Highway Patrol Chief PCol Christine S. Tan, Regional Chief of the Regional Highway Patrol Unit – Negros Island Region, for warmly receiving the delegation and supporting the discussion.

The engagement underscores the commitment of the LTO and law enforcement agencies to strengthen coordination, promote compliance with existing regulations, prevent the use of fake license plates, and ensure safer roads for all motorists.
