The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) Medical Social Work Department (MSWD), in collaboration with the Women and Children Protection Unit (WCPU), successfully facilitated the Training on the 4Rs for the Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) of various healthcare facilities in Negros Oriental.

The training was spearheaded by Dr. April Anotado, Chair of the WCPU and Gender and Development (GAD) Program, together with Dr. Sharon Pastorpile, Ms. Norie D. Agriam, and Ms. Mary Gwen Feliciano, members of the CLMMRH WCPU team.

The activity strengthened the knowledge and competencies of healthcare professionals in implementing the 4Rs—Recognize, Record, Report, and Refer—to ensure a coordinated, survivor-centered, and gender-responsive approach in the management of women and children in need of protection.

Through this initiative, CLMMRH continues to uphold its commitment to building the capacities of healthcare providers and advancing quality, compassionate, and responsive services for vulnerable sectors across the region
