The Medical Social Work Department (MSWD), through the Performance Monitoring, Training, Research, and Technology Development (PMRTD) Sub-unit, conducted a hybrid staff meeting.

The discussion focused on the assessment of program service delivery, ongoing activities and initiatives, training schedules and plans for the next quarter, and the review of compliance with the self-assessment tool.

The meeting was attended in person by the sub-station Team Leaders, while MSWD staff from the seven active MSWD stations participated online.

Cancer Assistance Fund (CAF) Coordination Meeting

The Cancer Care Center (CCC) and the Medical Social Work Department (MSWD), together with key cancer screening and diagnostic service providers from the Department of Pathology and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiologic Sciences, conducted a coordination meeting to discuss the current utilization status of the Cancer Assistance Fund (CAF). The meeting also focused on developing strategies to strengthen preventive cancer screening initiatives and streamline documentary requirements for CAF availment.

A follow-up meeting will be conducted to present the developed integrated digital system designed to enhance service delivery and patient management for CLMMRH patients.

Zero Balance Billing (ZBB) is strictly implemented at CLMMRH. All patients admitted under the service accommodation are ensured of zero out-of-pocket expenses throughout their hospitalization.
