Please be informed that a scheduled power interruption may affect part or the entire barangay.

Scheduled power interruption in parts of Negros Occidental on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Schedule: 6:00AM-6:00PM

Affected: NEPC ( Negros Power ) (Sum-ag and Hilangban Substations) and NOCECO ( Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative ) (Valladolid, San Enrique and La Carlota Substations)

Reason: Maintenance activities along the Bacolod - San Enrique 69kV line.

Specific affected areas are determined by the Electric Cooperative. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.

For everyone’s safety, the City of Bacolod announces the suspension of classes at all levels effective February 6, 2026. Please be informed that the Barangay Hall of Barangay Sum-ag will also be closed on the same day. Residents are advised to stay alert, take necessary precautions, and await further announcements as Typhoon Basyang continues to affect parts of the country.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 5, Series of 2026, work in government offices and classes in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools in Bacolod City are SUSPENDED tomorrow, February 6, 2026, upon the recommendation of the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BCDRRMO) due to the Orange Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by DOST-PAGASA for Bacolod City in relation to the combined effects of the Shear Line and Tropical Storm Basyang.

However, offices whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities and /or performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Schools are encouraged to shift to modular distance learning performance tasks and projects to ensure that learning competencies are met.

Suspension of work in private companies, business establishments, and institutions is left to the discretion of their respective management and administrators.

The Bacolod Emergency Operations Center remains under Red Alert Status to ensure heightened monitoring, rapid response, and coordinated action among all concerned agencies.
