Midyear Recognition Day, National Reading Month, and the VAWC Campaign with our beloved parents and learners!
In honor of National Reading Month, our teachers conducted story telling/retelling to enhance the pupils love for reading and various games related to reading enhancement/comprehension and pupils ability that had happened this week.
As for the current event, Hadith and Quran recitation was featured and rhymes and jingles were performed by the little ones. Special Awards and recognition were given to excellent pupils who excel academically and appreciation to those pupils who love reading.
During the welcome address by the school head she took this as an opportunity to share a brief yet insightful orientation on the importance of the VAWC (Violence Against Women and Children) Campaign as the Balut Primary School proudly wore orange in solidarity to this advocacy.
Of course, this program wouldn’t have been a success without the support of our District Supervisor, Hadja Sohria Tomawis, as well as Ma’am Soraida Hadji Nor, one of our dedicated district staff, and our District ISAL Focal, Ustad Karaoden Salic. Thank you for witnessing and supporting our event. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our teachers and parents for their continuous guidance and cooperation.
