CLASS SUSPENSION | NATIONAL TEACHERS’ DAY

Bilang pagkilala sa ating mga g**o at sa kanilang walang sawang dedication at serbisyo, suspendido ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampublikong paaralan, kabilang ang mga pampublikong Daycare and Child Development Centers, kolehiyo at unibersidad sa buong Lungsod ng Bacoor bukas, Lunes, Oktubre 5, 2026.

Layunin natin na mabigyan ang ating mga teachers ng pagkakataong makapagpahinga, makapag-celebrate ng National Teachers’ Day, at magkaroon ng quality time kasama ang kanilang mga pamilya. ❤️

Para naman sa mga private schools, nasa discretion na po ng bawat school administration kung magsususpinde rin sila ng klase.

FAKE NEWS ALERT | Maling impormasyon ang kumakalat sa social media tungkol sa umano’y nationwide suspension ng klase sa darating na Oktubre 5 at 6, 2026.

Bagama’t may ilang local government units (LGUs) na nag-anunsyo ng suspensyon ng klase sa kani-kanilang lugar bukas, walang nationwide class suspension na idineklara ang pamahalaan.

Maging mapanuri sa mga impormasyong nakikita online. Iwasang mag-follow o mag-share ng mga page na nagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon at i-report ang mga ito.

Para sa opisyal na mga anunsyo tungkol sa basic education, sumangguni lamang sa official DepEd Philippines social media accounts.

Coordination Meeting on the Proposed Medium-Rise Academic School Building Project

A coordination meeting on the Proposed Medium-Rise Academic School Building Project in Bacoor City was successfully conducted to discuss the current status of the project, address implementation concerns, identify necessary actions for timely procurement and implementation, and clarify other relevant matters.

The meeting was graced by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, together with Officer-in-Charge Assitant Schools Division Superintendent Mr. Christian Mespher A. Hernandez, with Engr. Kristine Joy Tabliso, Technical Assistant IV, and Engr. Crisitina Marie Balintoc, Technical Assistant IV, in attendance.

Also present were representatives from the DepEd Central Office, namely: Michael Oliver M. De Guzman, Director III – Education Facilities Division; Engr. Nehru Rainier Sarmiento, Engineer III – Education Facilities Division; Engr. Elvie Valeza, Technical Assistant IV – Education Facilities Division; and Engr. John Rick Macaranas, Technical Assistant IV – Education Facilities Division.

Representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region IV-A were also in attendance: Honey Grace D. Vibora, Engineer II, and Engr. Kriz Ann Mari A. Montenegro, PDO II. The Office of the City Engineer was represented by Engr. Raven James N. Velasco, Engineer I, while the City Government of Bacoor was represented by Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri, City Administrator.

The meeting served as a venue for strengthened coordination among concerned offices toward the effective implementation of the project under the FY 2024 Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF) to be implemented by the City Government of Bacoor.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS | DIVISION STORYBOOK WRITING COMPETITION 2026

The City Schools Division of Bacoor proudly announces the Top Five (5) Winning Entries in each category of the Division Storybook Writing Competition 2026!

The winning entries were officially recognized during the Division Illustration Contest and Wordless Storybook Contest, held at Bacoor National High School – Main on September 24, 2026.

The activity was opened with an inspirational message delivered by Mr. Christian Mespher A. Hernandez, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, on behalf of Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, with the presence of Dr. Alexander M. Morron, Jr., Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID).

The creativity, dedication, and literary talents demonstrated by the winning writers and illustrators were celebrated as their stories were brought to life through meaningful and imaginative visual representations.

Special thanks were extended to Dr. Teodoro Gloriani for the warm accommodation and support provided for the successful conduct of the activity.

Congratulations to all the winners, writers, illustrators, and participating schools! Your creativity and passion for storytelling continue to inspire a culture of reading, writing, and artistic expression among our learners.

4-Day Workshop on E-SIP Alignment and OPCRF Target Setting

The four-day Workshop on the Alignment of the Enhanced School Improvement Plan (E-SIP) with the Division Education Development Plan (DEDP) and Quality Basic Education Development Plan (QBEDP), including the Validation and Target Setting of School Heads’ 2026–2027 Office Performance Commitment and Review Form (OPCRF) was successfully conducted at Hotel Dominique, Tagaytay City, Cavite.

The activity was graced and led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, and Officer-in-Charge Mr. Christian Mespher A. Hernandez, with the presence and support of Chief of SGOD Dr. Cesar M. Mojica and Chief of CID Dr. Alexander M. Morron, Jr.

Through collaborative discussions, validation, and strategic planning, the alignment of school plans with the Division’s development priorities was strengthened, while evidence-based planning, strategic directions, and performance targets were further refined in support of quality basic education.
