The 2026 Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony was successfully held at Pacita Complex I Integrated School, marking the beginning of another year of collective action, volunteerism, and community partnership in support of quality education. The event was conducted in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and gathered key leaders, stakeholders, and education partners from across the CALABARZON region.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including DOLE Secretary Hon. Francis N. Tolentino, Laguna Governor Hon. Mirasol Castillo Aragones-Sampelo, Laguna First District Representative Hon. Maria Rene Ann Lourdes G. Matibag, San Pedro City Mayor Hon. Art Joseph Francis Mercado, DepEd Assistant Secretary Delfin Villafuerte, and officials from the DepEd Regional Office IV-A CALABARZON led by Regional Director Carlito D. Rocafort and Assistant Regional Director Loida N. Nidea. Also present were Functional Division Chiefs, Regional Office representatives, Schools Division Superintendents, and representatives from all Schools Division Offices across the region.

The successful conduct of the event was spearheaded by the Schools Division Office of San Pedro City, under the leadership of ASDS and OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Phillip B. Gallendez, CESO VI, whose dedication and commitment contributed greatly to the meaningful launch of this yearโ€™s Brigada Eskwela.

The gathering also highlighted the unwavering support of DepEd partners and stakeholders who continue to play a vital role in creating safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environments. In his message, Regional Director Carlito D. Rocafort officially declared the opening of Brigada Eskwela 2026, inspiring participants to strengthen partnerships and uphold the shared responsibility of preparing schools for the incoming academic year.

Following the opening program, attendees proceeded to their designated schools, where they actively participated in various school preparation activitiesโ€”demonstrating their commitment to the program and embodying the true essence of bayanihan.

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 officially begins, it serves as a powerful reminder that education is a shared responsibility. Through unity, volunteerism, and collaboration, communities come together to build not only better schools but also a brighter future for every Filipino learner.

TINGNAN | SAN PEDRO CITY, LAGUNA โ€” Nakiisa ang Schools Division Office (SDO) of Bacoor City sa 2026 Brigada Eskwela Regional Kick-Off na ginanap ngayong araw, Hunyo 3, 2026, sa Pacita Complex 1 Integrated School bilang pagpapakita ng suporta sa taunang bayanihan para sa paghahanda ng mga paaralan sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase.

Pinangunahan ni Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, ang delegasyon ng SDO Bacoor City kasama sina Dr. Alexander M. Morron Jr., Chief Education Supervisor ng Curriculum Implementation Division (CID); Dr. Janet G. Villaroya, Education Program Supervisor ng Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD); at Mr. Arwin M. Ternida, Education Program Specialist II for Social Mobilization and Networking.

Matapos ang seremonya, nagtungo ang Team SDO Bacoor City sa kanilang assigned school, ang Sampaguita Village Elementary School, upang aktibong makilahok sa mga gawaing Brigada Eskwela. Nagpaabot din ang delegasyon ng iba't ibang cleaning materials bilang suporta sa paghahanda ng paaralan para sa nalalapit na pasukan.

Malugod namang tinanggap ng Sampaguita Village Elementary School ang mga delegado mula sa SDO Bacoor City sa pangunguna ni School Principal Maria Leonora T. Guerrero. Nagpahayag din ang pamunuan ng paaralan ng pasasalamat sa suporta at pakikiisa ng SDO Bacoor City sa mga programang naglalayong mapanatili ang isang ligtas, malinis, at kaaya-ayang kapaligiran sa pagkatuto.

Ang pakikilahok ng SDO Bacoor City sa Brigada Eskwela Regional Kick-Off ay patunay ng patuloy nitong pagsusulong ng kultura ng bayanihan at pagtutulungan para sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at ng buong komunidad ng edukasyon.

TINGNAN | BACOOR CITY โ€” Nagsagawa ng courtesy visit si DepEd CALABARZON Regional Director Dr. Carlito D. Rocafort, CESO III sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Bacoor sa pangunguna ni Mayor Strike B. Revilla upang talakayin ang pagpapatibay at pagpapatuloy ng matatag na ugnayan sa pagitan ng DepEd Bacoor City at ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa kapakinabangan ng mga mag-aaral na Bacooreรฑo.

Sa isinagawang pagpupulong, binigyang-pansin ang mahalagang papel ng malapit na koordinasyon at pakikipagtulungan ng Local Government Unit (LGU) at ng Department of Education sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang at proyektong pang-edukasyon sa lungsod. Kabilang sa mga pangunahing paksang tinalakay ang patuloy na pagtatayo at pagpapahusay ng mga silid-aralan at gusaling pampaaralan, gayundin ang pagkakaloob ng suporta at pondo para sa ibaโ€™t ibang inisyatibang naglalayong mapaunlad ang kalidad ng edukasyon at matugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral sa Bacoor.

Muling pinagtibay ng mga opisyal ang kanilang pangako na ipagpatuloy ang mga programang magbibigay ng ligtas, maayos, at angkop na kapaligiran sa pagkatuto upang higit na mapahusay ang karanasan at pagganap ng bawat batang Bacooreรฑo sa paaralan.

Nagsimula na ang bayanihan para sa balik-eskwela!

Pinangunahan ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara ang National Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off sa Cabadbaran City National High School sa Agusan del Norte ngayong araw.

Tampok ngayong taon ang pagtutulungan ng DepEd at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa pamamagitan ng TUPAD Program, kung saan naglaan ang DOLE ng pondo para sa cash-for-work initiative na tutulong sa paghahanda ng mga paaralan para sa school opening.

Kasabay rin ng kick-off ang YAKAP at Kalinga Caravan, katuwang ang PhilHealth, upang matiyak ang kalusugan at kapakanan ng mga g**o, mag-aaral, at kanilang mga pamilya.

Nakibahagi rin ang iba't ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, pribadong sektor, at iba pang partner organizations na naghatid ng kanilang suporta at mga programa para sa mga paaralan sa bansa.

Pinangunahan ng mga opisyal ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Bacoor ang makabuluhang aktibidad sa pangunguna nina Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, at Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla, bilang pagpapakita ng kanilang patuloy na suporta sa mga programa ng edukasyon sa lungsod.

Katuwang ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ang DepEd Bacoor City sa pangunguna ni Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, kasama sina Dr. Cesar M. LOOK | CITY OF BACOOR โ€” The City Schools Division of Bacoor through the Legal Unit and Youth Formation Division (YFD) officially launched the two-day seminar workshop titled โ€œKalinga at Pananagutan: Strengthening Child Protection and Professional Accountability in Schoolsโ€ today, May 28, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall of Bacoor Elementary School. The activity will run until May 29, 2026.

The event formally opened with a warm welcome from Atty. Maria Cecilia Louise C. Cabral, Attorney III of the Legal Unit, who also presented the overview of the two-day seminar workshop.

Representing Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Alexander M. Morron Jr., Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum Implementation Division, delivered an inspirational message emphasizing the significance of child protection and professional accountability in creating safe and supportive learning environments for all learners.

The morning session featured insightful discussions from two distinguished resource speakers. Atty. Camille R. Buhain, Senior State Solicitor from the Office of the Solicitor General, discussed โ€œProtecting Every Learner: Understanding the Legal Foundations of Child Protection in DepEd.โ€ This was followed by Atty. Jigo A. Arevalo, Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the City Civil Registry, who explained the topic โ€œCorrection of Entries in Certificate of Live Birth vs. Correction of Entries in School Records.โ€

Meanwhile, the afternoon session was facilitated by Ms. Johanna D. Dela Cruz, Guidance Counselor III of Bacoor National High School โ€“ Main, through an engaging discussion on โ€œVoices that Matter: Child-Centered Communication for Safer Spaces.โ€

The first day of the seminar workshop concluded with meaningful learning sessions that strengthened participantsโ€™ understanding of legal frameworks, proper communication strategies, and appropriate approaches in handling child protection cases while promoting professional accountability in schools.

The activity reflects the divisionโ€™s continued commitment to ensuring that schools remain safe, learner-centered, and guided by lawful and ethical practices.
