INFORMATION AWARENESS ON THE PNP OPERATIONAL PLAN “PANGEA XVIII” THROUGH TRIMP

The Badian Municipal Police Station joins the Philippine National Police in promoting public awareness on the PNP Operational Plan “PANGEA XVIII” through TRIMP, which addresses the proliferation of illegal pharmaceutical products, including counterfeit, altered, and expired medicines.

⚠️ These products, often sold through unregulated online pharmacies, illicit supply chains, and fraudulent online advertisements, pose serious risks to public health and may fuel organized criminal activities.

Badian MPS personnel conducted information dissemination and public awareness activities through the distribution of information materials to community members, promoting awareness on laws concerning women, children, public safety, drug prevention, anti-bullying, road safety, cybercrime, trafficking, terrorism, and other common community concerns. The public was reminded of RA 9262 (Anti-VAWC Act), RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children), RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), RA 8353 (Anti-Rape Law), RA 10627 (Anti-Bullying Act), RA 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code), RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act), RA 9208 as amended by RA 11862 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons), RA 11313 (Safe Spaces Act), RA 7877 (Anti-Sexual Harassment Act), RA 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act), RA 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act), RA 11479 (Anti-Terrorism Act), and laws against illegal gambling, emphasizing the importance of knowing the law, preventing crime, protecting vulnerable persons, and promptly reporting incidents.

The activity also included the dissemination of the 911 Emergency Hotline, encouraging students to promptly seek assistance and report emergencies, threats, bullying, abuse, accidents, or other safety concerns by dialing 911 for immediate emergency assistance.
