TLW Events and Management Services started during one of the most challenging times in recent history, the pandemic. It was founded by Ms. Annalaine Pedro Aguinaldo, a freelance event planner and coordinator. With a deep passion in this field and through her wealthy experience, she took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship. She invested in the lessons she learned, equipment and everything needed to handle diverse events (weddings, corporate events, birthdays, baptismal, concerts and more. It was a journey of growth. Each event provided a new learning experience, pushing her to improve the quality of what she can offer.
But as we all know, all successful entrepreneurs out there have faced their own challenges. One of the major problems for Ms. Aguinaldo was financial management. As the business grew, so did the complexity of logistics and coordination of events. It became essential to optimize operation. To address this, she invested in better systems, hired reliable staff and continuously worked on better planning and management system to allow smoother ex*****on of events. Additionally, she focused on social media presence, word-of-mouth referrals and built a solid reputation. Ms. Aguinaldo tackled this by prioritizing her clientsโ needs, paying close attention to details and always going the extra mile to exceed their expectations. These efforts proved to be extremely helpful in overcoming hurdles allowing TLW Events and Management Services to thrive in a competitive environment.
But why should she stop there? This is a journey of growth, right? Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and support, she sought guidance from the Department of Trade and Industry in Ilocos Norte. Through their Negosyo Centers, she received assistance with Business Registration and Advisory services, which streamlined administrative processes. Not just that, one of the most impactful programs she joined was DTIโs KMME program. It provided mentorship that refined crucial aspects of her business (planning, financial management, marketing, networking and operational efficiency). This mentorship played a significant role in her businessโs growth, improving client satisfaction and expanding her reach in the event industry. She also took advantage of free seminars and programs offered by the DTI, which provided valuable insights and strategies for business improvement. What a brilliant woman she is.
Now for people who aspire to be a successful entrepreneur just like her, take note, because sheโs got some advice, and itโs simple. Never stop learning and growing. Seeking mentorship and embracing opportunities for development can be a huge difference maker. The KMME program is an excellent resource for refining business strategies and connecting with like-minded entrepreneurs.
