Monitoring, Detailed Assessment, and Documentation of the Ban-ao Sea Forest Marine Protected Area

The Local Government Unit of Baganga, through the Municipal Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (MTCAO), in partnership with CENRO Baganga and DENR Region XI, successfully conducted a One-Day Monitoring, Detailed Assessment, and Documentation of the Ban-ao Sea Forest Marine Protected Area.

The activity involved the comprehensive monitoring, assessment, and documentation of the area's ecological resources, tourism potential, accessibility, and prevailing site conditions. The gathered data will serve as a vital baseline for strengthening conservation initiatives, guiding sustainable tourism development, and enhancing the long-term protection and management of the municipality's coastal and marine ecosystems.

This collaborative undertaking reflects the Municipality of Baganga's steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible tourism through science-based planning, inter-agency collaboration, and the sustainable management of its invaluable natural resources.

Gipasiugda ni Mayor Laureano B. Taya ang kamahinungdanon sa accessible nga serbisyo sa panglawas pinaagi sa iyang mensahe, “Tanan ng utaw maka-avail ng Serbisyong Panlawas.”

Kini nga inisyatibo nagpalig-on sa panagtambayayong sa PhilHealth ug LGU aron maduol ug mapadali ang paghatag og kalidad nga serbisyong panglawas sa katawhan.

Nagpahigayon ang Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) og re-orientation sa Barangay Drug Clearing Program aron mapalig-on ang implementasyon sa kampanya batok sa ilegal nga droga ug mapadayon ang drug-cleared status sa mga barangay sa Baganga.

Gitambongan kini sa mga representante sa matag barangay ug ni PMAJ Randy T. Galicia, Chief of Police sa Baganga MPS, isip pagpakita sa hiniusang paningkamot sa lokal nga panggamhanan ug kapulisan alang sa luwas ug drug-free nga komunidad.

Ang maong pagbisita kabahin sa koordinasyon alang sa umaabot nga survey nga nagtumong sa tukmang pagsukod sa yuta ug pag-establisar sa husto nga mga utlanan sa kabtangan. Pinaagi niini, gipalig-on ang maayong pagdumala sa yuta ug ang pagplano alang sa umaabot nga kalamboan sa maong lugar.

Bilang paghahanda sa nalalapit na turnover ng bagong gusali, personal na bumisita at nagsagawa ng inspeksyon si Hon. Laureano B. Taya, Punong Bayan ng Baganga, sa bagong itinayong 10-silid-aralan ng Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU)–Baganga Campus.

Layunin ng naturang pagbisita na tiyakin ang kahandaan ng pasilidad bago ito pormal na ipagkaloob sa pamantasan. Ang bagong gusali ay inaasahang makatutulong sa patuloy na pagpapabuti ng kalidad ng pagtuturo at pagkatuto, gayundin sa pagtugon sa lumalaking pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral ng DOrSU–Baganga Campus.

Ang proyektong ito ay sumasalamin sa matibay na ugnayan at pagtutulungan ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Baganga at ng DOrSU sa pagsusulong ng de-kalidad at mas inklusibong edukasyon sa bayan.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng pamunuan ng DOrSU–Baganga Campus sa Pamahalaang Lokal ng Baganga, sa pangunguna ni Hon. Mayor Laureano B. Taya, sa kanilang patuloy na suporta at malasakit sa pagpapaunlad ng imprastraktura ng edukasyon na magbibigay ng higit na magandang kapaligiran sa pagkatuto para sa mga susunod na henerasyon ng mga DOrSUians.
