🧹✨ PAGLILINIS, MULING PAGPIPINTURA, AT PAGKAKABIT NG BAGONG KARATULA ✨🧹

Sa ilalim ng pamunuan ni SJO1 Mary Jane S. Vergara, Pansamantalang Nakatalagang Warden ng Distritong Piitan, isinagawa ang General Cleaning, Repainting ng Kusina ng PDL, at Pagkakabit ng mga Bagong Karatula (Signages) bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapanatili ng kalinisan, kaayusan, at magandang kondisyon ng pasilidad.

Ang kusina ng PDL ay mahalagang bahagi ng pasilidad sapagkat dito inihahanda at niluluto ang pagkain para sa mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). Dahil dito, mahalagang mapanatili itong malinis, maayos, ligtas, at kaaya-aya upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng wastong kalinisan at kaligtasan sa paghahanda ng pagkain.

Ang muling pagpipintura at paglilinis ng kusina, gayundin ang pagkakabit ng mga bagong karatula, ay nagpapakita ng patuloy na pagtutulungan, disiplina, at malasakit sa kapakanan ng mga PDL at mga tauhan.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga simpleng gawaing ito, patuloy na isinusulong ang isang malinis, ligtas, maayos, at organisadong kapaligiran sa loob ng pasilidad. 💙❤️💛

Ang mga produktong tampok sa “Likhang Loob” ay mga livelihood products na maingat at buong pusong ginawa ng ating Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) ng Negros Occidental District Jail – Female Dormitory, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni SJO1 Mary Jane S Vergara, Pansamantalang Nakatalaga ng Distritong Piitan. Mula sa makukulay na bulaklak at accessories hanggang sa mga malikhaing palamuti, bawat obra ay sumasalamin sa kanilang talento, tiyaga, at hangaring magkaroon ng makabuluhang pagbabago sa kanilang buhay.

Ang programang pangkabuhayan ay hindi lamang tungkol sa paggawa ng produkto—ito ay paglinang ng kakayahan, pagbibigay ng pagkakataon, at pagbubukas ng bagong pag-asa. Sa bawat likha, nabibigyan ang ating mga PDL ng pagkakataong matuto, maging produktibo, at maipakita na ang pagkakamali sa nakaraan ay hindi hadlang upang makalikha ng mas magandang kinabukasan. 🌱

Programa sa Pagpapanumbalik ng mga Kagandahang-Asal | NASYONALISMO

Ang Distritong Piitan ng Negros Occidental - Durmitoryo ng Kababaihan, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni SJ01 Mary Jane S Vergara, Pansamantalang Tagapangasiwa ng Distritong Piitan, ay tinalakay ang PAGMAMAHAL SA BAYAN kasama ang mga PDL at kawani noong ika 10 ng Agosto, 2026.

“Ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay hindi lamang nasasabi sa salita kundi naipapakita sa bawat gawa at tapat na paglilingkod.”

Tianalakay natin kung paano binubuklod ng pagmamahal sa bayan ang sambayanan tungo sap ag-unlad. Kung paano ibinabalik ng wagas na paglilingkod ang dangal at pag-asa ng bayan. At kung paano ang bawat tapat na gawa- mula sa pagsunod sa batas, pagtupad sa tungkulin hanggang sa pagtulong sa kapwa-ay may halaga at ambag sa ikabubuti ng Pilipinas.

Para sa ating PDL ito ay nangangahulugan ng pagiging mabuting Pilipino sa loob at labas ng bilangguan-pagsunod sa batas, pagbabago ng sarili at paghahanda upang makatulong sa pamilya at bayan paglaya.

Para sa ating mga kawani (BJMP Officers) ito ay nangangahulugan ng paglilingkod nang may wagas na hangarin, pagtatanggol sa kapakanan ng mamamayan at pagiging tapat na lingkod-bayan na ang bawat araw ng paglilingkod ay alay sa Diyos at sa Inang Bayan.

“Godliness with Contentment is a Great Gain”

The Negros Occidental District Jail-Female Dormitory under the guidance and active leadership of SJ01 Mary Jane S Vergara, Acting District Jail Warden, conducted Values Restoration Program discussed by SJ01 Desiree An T Sazon, Unit Values Restoration Officer. This week’s discussion focused on “Simple Living” further elaborated by J02 Maria Jellica B Pacete.

From the scripture it says: But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it” (1 Timothy 6:6-7)

Oftentimes we are pressured to chase more wealth, luxury, or status- and forget that true peace comes from being satisfied with what we honestly have.

Because when we choose simple living, we free ourselves from greed, debt, and temptation. We learn that our worth is not measured by what we own, but by our character and faithful service.

Let us all be reminded: To live simply is to serve honestly, freely, and with unwavering trust in God’s provision.

KAAGAPAY SANG PANIMALAY: GIFT GIVING ACTIVITY 🎁🏠

The spirit of giving lives in service.

The Negros Occidental District Jail-Female Dormitory personnel conducted a Gift Giving Activity under the "Kaagapay Sang Panimalay" Project for the communities of Bago City. This project is the initiative of SJO1 Mary Jane S Vergara, Acting District Jail Warden, together with all the personnel of this unit.

Each pack included 1 kilo rice, canned goods, noodles, and biscuits.

It may be simple, but we pray it brings comfort to every individual who received.

Because service means caring not just for PDL inside, but also for families in the community. 💚

HARD WORK BUILDS CHARACTER

Under Values Restoration Program, Negros Occidental District Jail-Female Dormitory under the leadership of SJO1 Mary Jane S Vergara, Acting District Jail Warden, tackled INDUSTRIOUSNESS with our PDL and personnel.

We discussed how diligence opens doors to opportunities. How a strong work ethic restores self-worth. And how every honest work — from cleaning, to crafting, to serving — has value.

Industriousness means working diligently, giving your best, and taking pride in every task — big or small. It is the habit of using time wisely, not waiting to be told, and doing things with excellence.

For our PDL, this means learning skills, joining livelihood programs, and preparing for a productive life after release.

For our personnel, this means serving with dedication, going beyond the call of duty, and being good stewards of our responsibility.

NODJ-FD ELCAC/ BIDA CAMPAIGN: SAY NO TO INSURGENCY and DRUG ABUSE

Under the active leadership of SJO1 Mary Jane S Vergara, Acting District Jail Warden of Negros Occidental District Jail-Female Dormitory, SJO1 Mary Jane Herdon, Chief Community Relations Service Officer participated in an ELCAC Flyer Distribution Campaign in the community of Bago City to raise awareness against insurgency and violent extremism.

Through the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) and National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), we distributed flyers and engaged with residents to share information on peace, government programs, and how to report suspicious activities.

This initiative aims to educate the public and promote a whole-of-nation approach in achieving lasting peace and development because “Peace starts with informed communities.”

We also distributed BIDA (Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan) flyers, to strongly advocate to the community campaign against illegal drugs and its ill effects on our health.

Today, the BJMP NODJ-FD personnel under the leadership of SJO1 Mary Jane S Vergara, Acting District Jail Warden, underwent a Ranks Inspection to ensure proper observance of the "Tamang Bihis" policy and maintenance of the highest standards of discipline, morale, and professionalism. SJO1 Desiree Ann T Sazon, Assistant Acting Jail Warden and Unit Executive Senior Jail Officer (UESJO) of this unit, personally conducted the ranks inspection.

The said inspection covered the completeness and proper wearing of uniform, proper haircut, neatness, bearing, and completeness of paraphernalia.

This activity aims to instill discipline and remind every personnel that we represent the BJMP with pride and dignity in every service we render.
