On October 5–6, 2026, the OCDRRMO conducted a 2-Day Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training at Brgy. Mailum, with 27 participants composed of Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Tanods, and EDC personnel.

The activity provided participants with practical knowledge and skills to help them respond more effectively during emergencies and provide immediate assistance when needed.

A heartfelt thank you to all our participants for your active participation and commitment to learning, and to our dedicated facilitators for sharing your valuable knowledge, skills, and expertise.

Your willingness to learn and serve helps make Barangay Mailum a safer and more prepared community.

✅ Daily Response
• Catered to various reported incidents within our Area of Responsibility (AOR), providing lifesaving intervention to patients and transporting them to the nearest medical facility for further care and assessment.
✅ Preparedness and Maintenance
• A Toolbox Meeting was held to align strategies, enhanced coordination and reinforce safety and operational procedures.
• Completed weekly inventory and inspection of Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment and medical supplies, including refilling of oxygen tanks, to ensure their availability and good operational condition during emergencies.
• Responders washed, cleaned, and disinfected the emergency vehicles, ready to be used in times of emergencies.
✅ Performance Monitoring
• Monitored attendance and ensured compliance with proper uniform standards.
• Conducted a Close-Out Meeting to evaluate weekly performance, address concerns, and identify ways to improve overall performance.
• The team conducted their weekly skills enhancement, focusing on Cervical Spine Injury (Cervical Collar)
✅ PDRRMO Emergency 911 Team
• PDRRMO personnel assigned to Bago City were deployed to incidents within the AOR to support response operations.
