SMILE BRIGHT BAGO. The third batch of beneficiaries of the Yuhom Negrense Free Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery underwent laboratory examinations and completed their final medical clearances as part of the pre-operative preparations for their scheduled cleft surgeries at Holy Mother of Mercy Hospital – Hinigaran today, September 4.

Through the partnership of the City Government of Bago, Yuhom Negrense, and Smile Train, the program continues to provide Bagonhons with access to free cleft lip and palate surgery, bringing them one step closer to brighter smiles and renewed confidence.

Rossa Aina Villacorsa, City Mayor’s Office Staff, was present to provide support to the beneficiaries.

SEE BRIGHT BAGO. Three Bagonhons underwent free cataract operations at the Queen of Mercy Hospital in Bacolod City on Thursday, September 3, through Mayora Mayette Javellana’s See Bright Bago program.

The beneficiaries were Roberto Rivera, 72, of Barangay Bacong; Teresita Lloren, 64, of Barangay Busay; and Editha Lara, 67, of Barangay Ilijan.

The procedures were performed by Dr. Miguel Tomas Sarabia, Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology, and Dr. Gian Carlo Rodriguez Coruña.

Through See Bright Bago, the city government continues to assist qualified residents in accessing cataract treatment, helping bring essential eye care services closer to Bagonhons.

Assisting the patients during the operation were Pauline Joy Tañajura and Rowena Cadic of the City Mayor’s Office.

WORKWELL DAY. Mayora Mayette Javellana graced the ongoing Bago WorkWell Day at the Community Center, providing free manicure, pedicure, haircuts, and foot massage services to city government employees.

Spearheaded by the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), the activity gave employees time for rest, personal care, and wellness amid their daily public-service work.

The program carried the message that a refreshed and supported workforce helps sustain quality service for Bagonhons.

This forms part of the city’s 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary and Civil Service Month celebration themed “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

BAGO WORK WELL DAY. City Government of Bago employees took a well-deserved break as they enjoyed free haircut, foot massage, manicure, and pedicure services at the Community Center today, September 4.

The activity, organized by the City Government of Bago through the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), forms part of the city’s celebration of Civil Service Month, promoting employee well-being and appreciation for the dedication of government workers.
