KADIWA NG PANGULO AND KADIWA ON WHEELS IN BAGO CITY
The City Government of Bago, through the Office of the City Agriculturist and the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), proudly holds the KADIWA ng Pangulo at the Bago City Hall Grounds. This initiative brings together local farmers, fisherfolk, food processors, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to provide the public with fresh, quality, and affordable agricultural and fishery products directly from the producers.
The KADIWA ng Pangulo will be held every 15th and 30th of the month, providing Bagonhons with regular access to reasonably priced commodities while creating a sustainable market for local producers. By eliminating unnecessary middlemen, the program helps farmers and fisherfolk earn better incomes while ensuring consumers enjoy quality products at fair prices.
In partnership with the Department of Agriculture โ Negros Island Region (DA-NIR) and the DA Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) XI, the City Government of Bago also supports the KADIWA on Wheels initiative. This program is part of the Department of Agricultureโs continuing commitment to strengthen market linkages and create sustainable economic opportunities for farmers, fisherfolk, and agri-entrepreneurs. Through KADIWA on Wheels, fresh agricultural products are brought closer to consumers, promoting direct market linkages, fair pricing, increased farmer incomes, food security, and affordable access to nutritious products.
We warmly invite all Bagonhons to visit the KADIWA market and support our hardworking local farmers, fisherfolk, and agri-entrepreneurs by patronizing their fresh and locally produced products. Your support helps strengthen our local economy, empowers our agricultural and fisheries sectors, and contributes to a more food-secure and resilient community.
Together, let us continue building a more resilient and prosperous Bago City through the spirit of cooperation and community support.
