The Local Civil Registrar's Office (LCRO) successfully conducted its Staff Development Activity (August 20, 2026 ) aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, upgrading skills, and deepening our commitment to responsive public service.
We were honored to learn from our distinguished resource speakers from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office - Negros Occidental:

🎯 Gender-Responsive Civil Registration & Data Systems – Integrating inclusive, gender-sensitive perspectives into our data collection and civil registration processes.

📜 CRVS Refresher Course – Revisiting core principles and updates on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics to ensure seamless, accurate, and faster transactions for our constituents.

Please be informed that today, August 20, 2026, the Office of the Local Civil Registrar – Bago City will temporarily not receive or release documents, nor process registrations for the following:

👶 Birth Certificate
💍 Marriage Certificate
✝️ Death Certificate

This temporary suspension of services is due to our Staff Development Activity (SDA).

📅 Regular office operations will resume on Monday, August 24, 2026.
