Nothing makes a mother prouder than seeing her child spread his wings and learn to fly.
Nielle proudly brought honor after winning 1st Place in Pagsulat ng Lathalain during the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2026, held on March 10โ12 in Bangued, Abra.
Standing beside him throughout the journey was his coach and mother, Jaynina Mae B. Dulay, who patiently supported, guided, and trained him in preparation for this prestigious competition.
During the announcement of winners, both mother and son were filled with nervous anticipation. As they waited, Nielle whispered to his mother, โMa, naririnig ko ang tibok ng puso ko sa sobrang kaba.โ While she tried to calm her child, she too felt the same nervous excitement deep inside.
When the announcement finally came and Nielle was declared the 1st Place winner, their nervousness quickly turned into overwhelming joy and pride.
Together, Nielle and his mother-coach will represent the Cordillera Administrative Region in the upcoming National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) 2026 in Ormoc.
Their achievement reflects not only talent and hard work but also the powerful bond between a mother and her child in reaching a shared dream.
