๐Ÿ“ฃ DAY 1 OF 6 | DFSSLG LEADERS BEGIN A JOURNEY OF PURPOSE AND SERVICE

September 19, 2026 | Baguio City โ€” The DepEd Baguio City Division Federation Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG) embarked on a six-day leadership training series in partnership with Every Nation Campus (ENC), creating a space for learner leaders to grow beyond their roles and discover what it means to lead with purpose. Through interactive activities, meaningful discussions, and sharing of experiences, the learners explored leadership anchored on integrity, faith, excellence, accountability, and service.

More than developing leadership skills, the first day encouraged learners to reflect on the kind of leaders they want to become. The sessions highlighted that leadership begins with character: making responsible choices, standing for what is right, listening to others, and using one's influence to serve and inspire. Through the values-centered approach of ENC, learners were also encouraged to connect their leadership journey with their personal purpose, faith, and commitment to making a positive difference in their schools and communities.

As Day 1 came to a close, the learners carried with them lessons not only from the facilitators but also from one another. Their stories, reflections, and shared experiences became the beginning of a deeper journey toward becoming responsible, purpose-driven, and service-oriented learner leaders. With five more days ahead, the DFSSLG leadership journey continues: six days of learning, growing, and becoming leaders who lead with purpose.

Stand Up, Speak Out, and Create Safe Spaces for Every Learner!

Bullying has no place in schools or in communities. Every learner has the fundamental right to study, learn, and grow in an environment free from fear, harassment, mistreatment and bullying.

Under the Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 006, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment), DepEd strengthen its commitment to preventing and addressing all forms of bullying.

Stopping bullying requires action from all of us. Thus, everyone is encouraged to recognize the different forms of bullying, how to report bullying incidents, the level of disciplinary intervention that may apply, and the importance of confidentiality in handling reported cases.

Together, let us help build a learning environment where every learner feels safe, heard, respected and protected.

Ramirez for her outstanding achievement in being elected President of the Regional Federation of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), for her dedication to student service, and for representing the City of Baguio with the highest distinction.

Resolution No. 402, Series of 2026, recognizes her achievement, which underscores the high standard of excellence in Baguio City's educational and youth formation programs.

It is more advisable that the learner-grantee must be the one to claim their stipend.

In some important cases, parent/guardian must bring an original authorization letter from their child/ward together with a photocopy of their valid IDs.

For Kinder, Elementary, and High School (who just recently submitted their report cards) Grantees, Please wait for further announcement. Rest assured that the documents are already on process.
